Most of the days are going to be the same as last year with a few small changes just to switch things up a little!
Day 1: Sunday, 5th May — favorite fictional portrayal of Anne (screen, stage, novel, etc)
Day 2: Monday, 6th May — favorite historical Anne quote (either by Anne herself or about Anne)
Day 3: Tuesday, 7th May — favorite historical fact about Anne
Day 4: Wednesday, 8th May — favorite Anne motto
Day 5: Thursday, 9th May — most underrated fictional portrayal of Anne (can be the same as favorite if you want)
Day 6: Friday, 10th May — favorite family dynamic (Anne & George, Anne & Elizabeth, etc)
Day 7: Saturday, 11th May — free day!

Oof I’m getting whiplash with this book. One moment, Margaret hates Catherine and is actively wishing her ill and the next she’s hero-worshiping her and sending her loving sisterly letters

I’ll never be banging out classic AU masterpieces like @boleynqueenes and @theladyelizabeth, BUT—
I’m in a bit of a writing rut, and I’d love to have kind of plot bunny to play with to pull myself out of it. So if you’ve got an AU idea featuring the Boleyns, Anne of Cleves, and/or Kathryn Howard that you’d like to see in writing, feel free to reach out…I’d be willing to try my hand at it!
Sample of one of my older WIPs below the cut.
“Mama!” Anne caught the briefest glimpse the pink-and-cloth-of-gold gown Elizabeth wore for her baby sister’s christening before she scrambled onto the high carved bed. Though Elizabeth had the perfect manners and dignified bearing of a princess even at her tender age, it warmed her mother’s heart to see her behave like a child. The exuberant girl wrapped her little arms around Anne’s neck. They both squeezed each other hard. Even lengthy separations and repeated pregnancies could not diminish the mutual devotion between Anne and Elizabeth. In public, Elizabeth acknowledged “my lady mother” with the appropriate gravitas, but in private she still squealed gleefully for her mama, just as Anne now murmured, “Ah, Bessie, my sweeting—let me see how grown-up and pretty you look. And tell me about the ceremony.” Elizabeth had arrived from Hatfield this morning to attend her baby sister’s christening, just as she had taken part in the festivities that followed Edmund’s arrival the previous summer. As she listened to her daughter’s enthusiastic account, Anne took the opportunity to savor the too-rare sight of her. Her cheeks, finally beginning to lose their childish plumpness, glowed pink with good health, and her eyes—I gave her those,Anne thought with just a touch of pride—sparkled. She hoped that Edmund looked as well as Bess did and felt a pang of sorrow that he hadn’t been sent for as well. Of course he was still very young, and it was safer for him to stay at Richmond than brought often to court…but he’s mine, too, and I want him with me. She tried to dismiss such a petulant thought. Hadn’t she learned the realities of being a royal mother the hard way and resigned herself to that fact as best she could? Anne forced herself to smile. “Are you pleased to have a little sister, my heart?” After a moment’s thought, Elizabeth nodded. “Will she live with me? Like Mary?” Her smile slipped. “Yes, she’ll come to Hafield when she’s old enough. She’ll be your little playmate.” Mary, seventeen years Elizabeth’s senior and resentful of her, had never been that. “And you must be her protector and her teacher. Can you do that for me, Bess?” The little girl nodded solemnly again. “Yes, Mama.” Now Anne’s smile was warm and genuine. She leaned close and pressed a kiss to her daughter’s brow. “Good girl. Now, I want to hear everything you’ve learned since I saw you last, and all the fun you’ve been having without your poor mama. Here,” she added as her own mother approached the bed, “sit with Grandmere and tell us both.” The young princess was quite content to hold court from her grandmother’s knees, especially when her aunt Jane also came close to listen. Over her head, however, Elizabeth Boleyn cast a worried glance at Anne, who looked to her eyes as pale and exhausted as she had been three days ago. A difficult labor, the countess told herself. She’s still recovering. She is strong. But she wondered if she believed even her own platitudes.

I preemptively gave all of PGregs and Weir’s books 1 star ratings on Audible.

I’m about 4 hours into Three Sisters, Three Queens. It’s exactly like all the other PGregs novels…my biggest complaint is that the voice actor reading it is really bad at a Scottish accent which is really distracting.
