"AI Engorgement" refers to the phenomenon where an AI model absorbs too much misinformation in its training data. This corrupts the model's base truth, leading to strange glitches. An engorged image model, when prompted to create images for "cat" and "historical", generated the following:

AI Engorgement may trigger a complete dissolution of truth within a model, leading it to back conspiracy theories, clearly debunked facts, and mistake fiction for reality. It is believed that the systematic siphoning of unreality by AI datasets is already revealing signs of engorgement in every major model.

being a symbolism enjoyer should humble you because at the end of the day no matter how eloquently you articulate it youre essentially saying "i love it when things have meaning"

i wish i could remember who made the recommendation to "make a list of all the different ways someone could feel about a topic in your fictional setting and then make each of them a character" because it is a great technique and is also extremely fun

completely random, but i sometimes daydream about alternative societies with different naming cultures and how all of them are so much more appealing to me as a queer person.
one i think about a lot is one where everyone adopts a flower name at a certain age. what would my name be? belladona? sunflower? forget-me-not? sometimes I'm almost sure about what other people's names would be but then i think "would they even know that flower meant that?". and then i be like "how would flower language change because of this new naming convention? what would happen to flowers like the french marigold?"

most important thing to remember about being a woman is if youre married you have to go under the covers with your husband and laugh cutely and play wrestle so when you die to progress the narrative he can remember it in slow motion montages
#i just...#i wanna cry over a couple that doesn't even exist...#and i just read a few paragraphs about them#they don't even have names

I don’t care if you make fun of Catholicism as long as it’s accurate! The best humour has its roots in the truth.

Had a dream last night about a tabletop RPG that was seemingly made just to get stories written about the author's extremely complex low fantasy kingdom.
The rules were fairly short, only being a dozen or so pages. The main bulk of the hundred of pages long core book was information on the kingdom. And not just political information or trade, but massive charts and calendars that told you what the weather was in what area on a specific day.
You could do an entire months long campaign that chronicled a family running out of food in the winter and trying to get to the neighboring town in order to find food and shelter. Supplements (both official and fan made) added new dimensions of detail, like war breaking out between lords, or a years long winter, ect.
Since the gameplay itself was really straightforward there were barely any rules questions. Instead, the online discussions would be long stories about someone's merchant almost making it to a town before the local festival, only to be stopped by a wheel breaking, or similar such tales.
The biggest community was a "living kingdom" that were hundreds of concurrent campaigns run by a group of two dozen GMs.
It made such an impression on me that I remembered all of this information hours after waking up from the aforementioned dream.

I was reading one of my childhood diaries the other day and there was a whole paragraph saying how hopeful I was that my writing will help the archeologists in the far future. Then it proceeded to describe my lunch that day and how my dog was probably secretly able to talk.

I love (/j) how school teacher are always oh so critical of the quality of your slides, presentations and formatting in assignments, but then you get to uni and half the professors don't know how to carry a class with a linear-ish logic and those who can always have the most fucked up slideshows lol
Like, I'm right now attending a class about modern literature and the professor spent half and an hour talking about the semiotics of the word "flor" (that never once appeared in the chronicle we're analysing, but the started to talk about it when he read the word "carta") and sometimes it's hard to read the slides because everything has a different color and there's either WAY TO MUCH CONTRAST or no contrast at all (plus he changes fonts every paragraph and i still don't understand the reasoning behind each font choice)
