Buddie is a couple that’s not a couple, that’s had a dozen love confessions without explicitly confessing they love each other. Even more than Buddie, I just want Buck and Eddie hanging out again. Those calls in s8 reminded me of how great their friendship is. I get that absence had to make the heart grow fonder in s8 because the show was trying to do something that likely got derailed, but I'm sick of absence. And I'm sick of there always being someone in between Buck and Eddie. I need them to just be all up in each other's lives again like they've always been. That's why Buddie roommates would have been so good. But I'm ok with no roommates as long as Buck and Eddie are just BucknEddie again.

Still thinking about how crazy it is that 911 actually brought up the possibility of Buck and Eddie being in love on-screen. They planted the seeds in the mind of the GA and turned the whole thing into Chekov's gun, essentially

everyone loves to talk about eddie calling buck out like he’s a deadbeat dad in the grocery store during the lawsuit arc but i personally might be more of a fan of eddie’s, “im not mad. im-…” then, he looks down, shakes his head (which, we know he does when he’s feeling particularly close to crying/feeling an emotion he doesn’t want to be) and then pivots with, arguably, one of my favorite eddie lines: “when you decided to sue the department, to make cap the bad guy, did you ever stop for a minute and think about what that could do to us?”
