Join Allie Fussell as she introduces her forthright level 8 High Elf Paladin/Fighter, Eira Tahn, and her character’s companion, a hopowl named Awyr. Looking for more D&D content? Since we're starting mid-campaign, our incomparable GM created a prologue to get everyone up to speed on where our characters have been up until you meet them on March 4th. Last, but certainly not least, is our Game Master, Justin Fussell. Our world-builder, storyteller, and chaos manager here at Off the Beaten Quest. This master of voices and keeper of lore and is sure to keep you on your toes, triggering all those sweet emotions ttrpgs are famous for making us feel. Jaks. Changeling. Monk. Fighter. Druid. Like his partner, Eira, his past is... complicated. He’s doing his best, but some days are harder than others. His companion squat, Kole, keeps a smile on his face and reminds him not to take himself too seriously all the time. As a level 9 Monk/Fighter/Druid, Jaks is a heavy hitter that doesn’t give himself enough credit. He’s emotional, but also relatable so he hopes you enjoy his playlist. Check it out in our Linktree 🌳

Verity Belladonna is in a deal she can’t get out of, as are so many Warlocks. In an attempt to save her mother, has she put everyone else she cares for in grave danger. She’s learned shadows are unforgiving on a good day and often finds herself among them within her mind. As a level 7 Rogue/Warlock, Verity is learning that just because life has been hard, it doesn’t mean it has to stay that way. If learning to trust is this hard, what will love feel like? Lukiel Olivair, the ostentatious Aasimer hailing from Cottageport, will never be found without his lute. He’s been given a task - he must find all the missing pieces of an ancient work of music - but what does it mean and why has he been given this quest? As a level 8 College of Eloquence Bard, Lukiel is facing the real world and all it’s challenges for the first time. Being the performer he is, Lukiel thinks he’s got the best playlist of them all, but we know you’ll be the judge of that! Check it out in our Linktree 🌳

Elliana Syllmare only shares one trait with her party member, Dawn: they’re both from the Fey Wild. Seeking guidance in the stars, Elliana is searching for answers she’s not confident exist. Her companion, Stella, keeps her grounded when all she wants to do is break. As a level 8 Circle of the Stars Druid, this Eladrin elf uses her unique talents to find her way back to those she loves most - her family. While she doesn’t fully understand the material plane, she was able to pull together some songs she’s heard in a playlist just for you! Check it out in our Linktree

Um... hi!

I'm not really sure what I'm doing here other than trying to find a cozy corner of the internet not spoiled by politics and fueled by anger and fear.. I'm Allie, a cast member of the new TTRPG podcast, Off the Beaten Quest. It's coming out March 4th, but we have a prologue coming on February 14th. I know, I know, Valentine's Day? Well. Look. It's a holiday, and a special one at that, but everyone still goes to work and we figured you still need something to listen to on that commute to work, bus ride to school, or on the treadmill at the gym. Our GM pulled it all together and it'll be great catching up to where we're starting the campaign! Otherwise, I read a lot (think Brandon Sanderson, Travis Baldree, V.E. Schwab, SJM, you get it)... I sew (mostly just make quilts for friends and family), I love to bake and make good food for my family and friends all while snuggling with the three cutest cats to ever exist, Gabe, Duchess and Ellie. 🥰

I'm not sure what I'm doing here quite yet, but I hope you'll join me for the ride! (Expect a fair amount of reposting from Off the Beaten Quest's blog!) Eira Tahn, high elven noblewoman from Port of Mar. Her lineage is complicated and she’s known to overcompensate to prove her point. While she dotes on her hopowl, Awyr, she struggles to find balance as the Champion of Nylea, except through blueberry muffins. Those always seem to help. She’s a level 8 Oath of the Ancients Paladin/Fighter ready to take on whoever stands in the way of her mission.
