A crack in my soul
The golden sun creeps in
and I know no warmth.
Summer leaves my body
at dusk for autumn knocks
at the window

i find august to be so beautiful. there are still remains of summer engraved into the wind but in some time the summer breeze will consumed by the coldness yet warmth of autumn’s spirit. autumn leaves will fall down like pieces into place whilst august will slip away like a bottle of wine.
