Are you not going to post anymore gtronpa? 🥺
Nope, sorry hun :'( I was done with DR early last year so I have 0 interest left in it. When I came in 2020 there were little to no gtronpa writers (besides a couple who were inactive) so I wanted to have at least 20 stories up before I leave to fill that void, and that goal's reached. A few months after I joined the fandom I also saw a ton of new blogs and writers pop up so I feel pretty good leaving the writing in their hands :)
Only thing I feel bad about is the reqs I couldn't get done in the end. So here's a lil shout-out to the reqs for: shifter!Kiibo and Miu, giant Nekomaru X reader, giant rantaro X reader, continuation of the engineer!Shuichi and giant Kiibo headcanon, and the plethora of reqs for more shifter!Shuichi and Kokichi oh my God you guys like emotional shifting don't you
I'm glad you enjoyed reading my stuff for so long dear!

Masterpost
Welcome! This is a Gtronpa writing blog, where you’ll find some oneshots, discussions, rebloged gtronpa art, headcanons, and much more. All  20 oneshots linked under the cut with a summary. Happy reading!
A malfunction causes Kiibo to have an interest in g/t. When he meets a giant Shuichi, the excitment may just fry his circuits.
Kaede discovers Shuichi has the freaky ability to change his height. Instead of running away, as the boy would expect, she stays to comfort him.
Kyoko isn’t easy to fool. None of Makoto’s borrowings go unnoticed by the young detective, and she’s determined to find the mysterious thief in her walls.
Kiibo finds a borrower on school grounds and is determined to befriend them.
One night, Kokichi meets a giant in the streets. It’s well the most-not-boring thing that happens to him in a while, and he’s determined not to let this giant emo go.
Sequel to the last one: Shuichi has no desire to meet anymore humans, but as fate would have it, Kokichi bumps into him again. The little leader is apparently running from bad guys, and Shuichi accepts to help him with his escape.
The new motive leaves Kokichi as a giant. His classmates agree to avoid him, but Shuichi’s intrigue leads him to chat with the mischivious giant.
Sequel to the last one: The new motive leaves Kokichi as a tiny. Now that he’s the easiest, most tempting target, he can only hope his classmates have enough sense and sensibility to let him live.
While out on a borrowing trip, Shuichi comes in contact with Kaito, the household’s youngest human. He’s eager to cut the interaction short, but maybe Kaito can help him this once?
Borrower Chihiro greets Mondo as he comes back from school with a little prank. (He/Him prounouns for Chihiro in here)
Taka is woken at night by Chihiro. Only she’s inexplicably gigantic, and it’s up to him to help her back to her normal height. (She/Her for Chihiro)
Leon’s an emotional shifter. And the worst person finds out: Junko. She takes advantage of his shrunken state, but Leon’s not getting crushed without a fight.
Sequel to the last one:  After his altercation with Junko, Leon wakes up in Makoto's room and the baseball prodigy has a feeling Makoto knows more than he should. Now the question is, will he be a friend or foe?
Dared by her classmates, Himiko ventures in the woods to finds the rumored monster lurking there. As it turns out, the beast is only a young, handsome, absolutely massive green-haired man.
Kokichi notices that Saihara’s height changes with his emotions. He pushes the boy to the extreme to see how far his ability goes, but he may have bitten off more than he can chew.
Kokichi sneaks in professor Iidabashi’s hangar to find his latest project: a giant, super cool mecha robot. Well it doesn’t have any laser beams or missiles, but at least it’s easy to frustrate and it talks funny. Thats enough for Kokichi to stick around.
Shuichi can’t sleep so he goes for a walk in the woods. He meets a playful, mysterious giant boy, and he’s not sure if the encounter helped alleviate his stress or tormented him more.
Maki is dragged by Kaito to the woods for night training. Only, he brings an unexpected guest: a boy their age and ten times their height. Maki’s trust will be hard to earn, but he may just gain her respect.
Angie decides to empower the student council in the most literal way: by turning them into mini giants. Shenanigans ensue.
Kokichi finds out lying now make him grow taller. He can’t let his classmates find out and trust him even less, but he may need help from a certain mage.

____
Word count: 1300
Summary: After his altercation with Junko, Leon wakes up in Makoto's room and the baseball prodigy has a feeling Makoto knows more than he should. Now the question is, will he be a friend or foe?
____
When Leon woke up darkness fought to drag his eyelids down. He reached to his side for his monopad or a clock or any source of light but his fingers only brushed against wood. Not a sound in what should be his room and oddly neat sheets underneath himself. He pushed himself up on his elbows and let his gaze sweep over the room and found a pair of eyes inches from him.
His heart stopped but his fist didn't. He sprung out and landed a punch in thin air. "H-hey, whoa there!"
His second punch met solid flesh and he heard a splutter and the person falling. He reached blindly on the wall and when his hand connected with the switch and light flooded the room he was met with the petite form of talentless guy Makoto clutching his stomach on the floor.
"Jeez, man! You scared the hell out of me." He heaved a sigh and offered a hand to the smaller boy.
"A... Apology accepted." Makoto took his hand and rose up on shaky legs, as Leon had when Makoto had offered him his help back in the hallways.
Right, Makoto had seen his and Junko's altercation in the hallway.
Before the boy had time to fully get on his feet Leon had him pinned against the wall, fist clutching his shirt and pressing his Adam's apple.
"How long has it been?" Makoto gasped and grabbed and scratched his arm, to no avail. "How long've I been here? Who'd you tell?"
When the only answer he got was mess of gasps and mumbles and drool he slackened his grip. Then, "E-Everyone knows you're here. I... I didn't tell them what happend."
His nerves sang, his vision swam. The familiar tension overcame his limbs and in seconds he found Makoto's neck arching up to meet his gaze. Shifting so much in a day after not having done so for months made his head pound. He couldn't stop himself, but there was no point in doing so since Makoto knew.
"Someone please–!" Leon had his thumb on the smaller boy's mouth before his voice could get any louder; it covered his lips and nose and smothered his cheeks. He shifted his grip so that his fingers wrapped around the now plushie sized boy. Some lucky guy he was, getting under his radar.
"At least you weren't dumb enough to snitch on me, but if you ever tell anyone about this I'm smashing you against the wall," and for emphasis he lifted the boy up and thrust his back on the wall.
There was no cracking sound and Leon thought he'd controlled his strength well, but Makoto's body went limp in his grip. When he didn't respond Leon opened fist and inspected the boy in his palm. His chest rose steadily and his eyes looked at him— no, past him. Leon lowered him back on the mattress. He mostly seemed shocked, not injured. He didn't intend to further harm him anyway, as long as his secret remained safe.
The now too tall boy frowned when he felt the ceiling meet his head with a thud. He had to arch his back and tuck his knees to his chest to fit in the room. He could feel the bedframe creaking and bending near his foot and had to shift position constantly to avoid any more wreckage than there'd already been with Junko. Only then did he notice how his heart pounded and ached in his chest and then he could focus on it and steady his breathing. Slow, steady, and heat and tension fizzled out his tight muscles.
The boy had only gotten halfway back to his normal height when he heard a knock on the door and a soft, feminine voice on the other side call out to him and the boy on his bed urgently, "Makoto? Leon? I heard yelling in here!"
Then the doorknob twisted and Leon all but threw himself against the door, rattling it and earning a yelp from the girl. "Don't barge in! I-I'm changing, just a sec." He looked back at the boy awake and alert on his bed and brought a finger to his lips and frowned at him, then he turned around but thought better of it and turned back and made a pleading gesture with his hands clasped to his chest. Three deep breaths and two clenched fists later and he opened the door in the height of an average baseball prodigy and with an ache in his limbs he knew would keep him up tonight.
"Is everything alright? I heard commotion in here." Leon stood in the doorway and tried to block her view, but Sayaka pushed past him and went in the room. "Makoto?"
The boy spun on his heels to grab her shoulder right as Makoto spoke in the sincerest, most innocent voice, "Nothing, nothing. I accidentally scared Leon when he woke up, that's my bad," and Leon's hand fell back to his side.
"I see, that's a relief." She gave a smile to Makoto then turned to Leon, and though her eyes were that of an idol, soft and shiny and able to melt away any boy's worries, he saw hostility in them. Hostility towards him. "Junko isn't looking too good herself. Well, at least you seem fine." She gave him a smile of stone and put a hand on his shoulder and said, "It wouldn't do if we started to fight when we all want to survive here."
He smacked her hand away and huffed then she left and he closed the door behind her.
Makoto sat on the bed crisscrossed, unafraid or concealing it well. Leon moved to sit beside him and looked at his stupid deer eyes as though he was a saint in all this. Then he closed his eyes and flopped back on his bed focused on not focusing his mind on anything. And after a moment of silence Makoto tentatively spoke, "I'm not telling anyone what it is you want me to keep secret, but I don't know what I'm supposed to keep secret?"
He opened an eye to look up at the boy, and if his abdomen wasn't so tight he would've laughed. "Either you're dumb or you know a lot more sizeshifters than I do. It was Junko that tried to kill me, I only defended myself."
He saw Makoto's eyes widen as if the scene hadn't made that fact already obvious. "You mean you- like-" then he lifted his hand far above his head, palm down, "-when you were fighting? I knew it was weird how noisy you two were."
Leon took a deep breath and pushed himself up on his elbow. "You mean you didn't see any of that?" Makoto shook his head and Leon flopped back down, a shiver travelled up his body.
"Then I just exposed myself for nothing." He heaved a sigh and shut his eyes.
"I won't tell anyone you... either way, don't worry. But if you go threatening everyone to smash them I think they'll all know pretty soon."
"At least you're gonna keep quiet, but I dunno about Junko. Who knows what that girl's thinking. I can't even go talk to her right now or everyone will think I'm out to kill her. Sorry about pounding you by the way."
A moment of silence passed between them, then he felt a weigh on his arm. He opened his eyes and looked at Makoto's hand. It covered his whole arm and he then realized his feet didn't touch the ground anymore. He cringed at the sight and rubbed his shoulders. His back would be stiff for weeks after all this. If he survived. Even if not he was still embarrassing himself in front of the weakest boy at school.
"I'm sure things will work out. I could always talk to Junko for you if it helps."
He put his free hand on Makoto's, but only covered a fingertip. "Thanks man."

For a G/trompa idea how about Kokichi gets cursed so that whenever he lies he grows. Meaning he has to start telling the truth real soon or has to come up with an elaborate lie to his classmates as to why he’s quickly outgrowing the academy
This is my last request on this blog. Albeit overdue, i'm glad to finish with this banger
____
Word count: 1800
Summary: Kokichi doesn't remember the school's ceiling being so low. Maybe it has to do with his record lying that day, or maybe it has to do with his morning interaction with a certain mage; either way, he doesn't want anyone seeing him loom over them when his classmates mistrust him so much. He has to fix this, and fast.
____
If you asked Kokichi how breakfast was, he'd say it was the best he'd ever had; if you asked him how his day went he'd make the dullest details sound as enticing as the ultimate adventurer's journeys. His classmates needed some ease of mind lest the killing started, and he was there to deliver. And if his antics didn't amuse them, at least it amused him.
Speaking of 'them', Himiko seemed like one of those who didn't enjoy his morning dose of trickery.
"You horrible, horrible boy," The magician- mage, pointed an accusatory finger at him. Her sleepy tone served as a bandage to the insult. "Meanies get cursed, so next time you lie..." She paused and stared at him, at a loss for spells. Kokichi opened his eyes wide and batted his eyelashes at the girl, grin wide. She deflated, " Something really bad will happen."
He burst out laughing, making the girl deflate even further.
He managed to croak out between giggles, "Sure!". Himiko's face turned an impressive shade of red, but she didn't retaliate.
Kokichi went on with breakfast, sensational stories pouring out of his mouth for any ears willing to listen.
Between one lie and the next, Kirumi brought them coffee and he swallowed back a grimace at the bitter smell that assaulted his nose. He took a sip of it and complimented the maid for her service as per usual. His mouth didn't even close before his chair leg snapped and he fell, burning coffee narrowly missing him.
He hissed under his breath and cursed at the broken furniture before getting up to brush himself off. A wave of dizziness made his eyes shut tight, and when he opened them he found Kirumi at his side in the blink of an eye. "Are you alright?"
"Just-" he turned to look at her and stopped a second too long, noticing he was almost at eye level with her, "- Great." And there he was perfectly at eye level with the girl he was certain was taller than himself.
Kokichi looked down but found his feet on the same ground Kirumi stood on. He looked back up at her and found her eyebrow furrowed and her eyes travelling him up and down. He scampered several steps back.
"Yikes, way to make me lose my appetite," He felt an uncomfortable tightness in his limbs. Without another word, Kokich left at a leisurely pace; and once out of earshot, he dashed for the nearest bathroom.
He knew for sure something was wrong when he didn't even need to stand on his tip-toes to see his reflection in full. Dare he say, he even needed to bend down a notch to get a full view of his bangs.
Kokichi stayed as still as could be for several moments, eyes piercing into his own reflection until it didn't look like Kokichi anymore. His hand stayed up in the air and he readied himself to bolt out of the building the moment his fingers brushed over the ceiling. But minutes passed without any change, yet Kokichi couldn't feel any relief for the strange growth-spurt's ceasing. It wasn't getting worse, but it had still happened and he didn't yet know why.
A knock and feminine voice diverted his attention. "Is something the matter?" Kirumi's voice sounded concerned, not unlike a mother's. Too bad to waste the sentiment on him.
"I'm fine, alright, super peachy- ow!" He reached to rub the back of his head and bent down. A peek upward made his already pale face turn shades whiter. The ceiling was right above his head and had the faintest crack that wasn't there before. He couldn't exit with the company waiting for him right outside the door.
He mumbled, "Alright, maybe not a hundred percent super peachy." And thought he must have dreamed seeing the ceiling rise above his head again, if only an inch.
"If you're sick I'd recommend opening the door at least. It wouldn't do to lock yourself in and risk passing out." He did hear what words the maid said, but the meaning didn't register as all his brainpower was currently trying to make sense of his situation. It didn't serve him either to think before talking.
"Sick? Maybe I am, who knows." His pounding head somehow made him even more likely to rant on in mumbles, though he was too preoccupied with the fantastical occurrence to pay mind to the listening ear. "I hope I'm not sick though, that would make me the easiest target to kill. Or maybe the hardest, in this case." Amazingly enough, the growth seemed to reverse, and by the time he closed his mouth he was just shy of the door's height. Still quite tall for his liking, but it seemed it would have to do as long as he didn't know the cause.
"I'll be nearby, you can call if you need any help."
"Will do." he gripped the handle and waited for the sound of footsteps to get far enough, but a sharp tug at his limbs made his heart stop and bile rise in his throat.
"Wait!" The ground was getting further from his feet again. Kokichi couldn't think straight when he said, "Come to think of, I wouldn't call you even if I needed anything." His height stabilized, and he let instinct take over his tongue. "I already feel much better now." Something in his speech changed his height, and even if he didn't know exactly what it was he knew how to keep going. "Hey, remember when I told Gonta his talk about arachnids and stuff was fascinating? I thought it was the worst thing to hear so early in the morning." Even if the tension in his body melted and he found himself almost back to a reasonable height, it didn't help the dread creeping up his stomach as his thoughts started to clear up.
He knocked twice on the door, and Kirumi responded. "Is that what made you sick?"
"Not really," He ignored the tightness in his throat and focused on dramatising his tone, "You know what makes me sick of myself? I have to admit, that coffee you make every morning is so bitter, it grosses me out. I always stayed quiet cuz you work so hard for us, I just didn't wanna bother." His ears burned and his head pounded, but Kokichi stood back at his reasonable height of five gremlin feet and an inch.
He opened the door to a frowning Kirumi. Her fingers brushed over his forehead, "I don't know if this is one elaborate trick or if you're feeling unwell," then her hand travelled up to ruffle his hair, and when it retreated he turned around and saw rubble and dust and shut the door tight behind him, "But either way, you know where to find me if you need anything."
"Don't ya worry, I was just feeling the confession fever." He skipped off, the smile that stretched on his face hurt his jaw like never before.
On his way downstairs, Kokichi came by Himiko and her bodyguard. The thousand thoughts buzzing in his brain all vanished when he remembered their earlier discussion.
"Hey, Himiko! My dear dearest bestie..." He caught up to them and noticed the shorter girl only reaching his shoulder or so. He gulped, "Not exact bestie, but you get what I'm saying. Care to remind me that spell you cast on me this morning?"
"Huh? I can't remember all the spells I cast, or else I'd fall asleep." She yawned and looked away. Kokichi held back a scoff, instead turning to the other girl. "Say, Tenko, you were right next to us. Didn't you hear?"
The girl turned her head a hundred and eighty degrees away from him. "Even if Himiko said anything about cursing you when you lie, Tenko won't tell a degenerate like you. If Tenko sees you within a thousand-meter radius of Himiko she'll launch you to the sky." She took a battle stance, ready to launch him in the wall at the very least. He promptly ran off. It didn't matter, he'd have a more private talk with the mage later on.
...
Card decks were discarded left and right, the underside of her bed was flooded with coins and rubberbands and plastic cups, red curtains were haphazardly shoved in the closet. Kokichi had plenty of time to take everything in before the handle rattled and the owner of the room came in. Himiko had her eyes closed as if sleepwalking, and she didn't notice the intruder until she flopped on her bed and he hovered over her and said, "Hey."
Her eyes shot open to stare at the face inches from her own. She stuttered and thrashed in her bedsheets until falling off her bed right at his feet.
"Nyeh? K-Kokichi? You have to leave or people will get the wrong idea..." She stood up and the boy took a step forward, making her back off.
"Your tricks are just too obvious, your hat makes you look dumb, you're really untalented..." The ground got further from his feet and the tension in his muscles grew until he couldn't feel anything and had to force his eyes open, but he kept talking and stepping ahead until the girl was backed in a corner, barely taller to him than a toddler and craning her neck up to make eye contact. Himiko's mouth hung open and her eyes were the most awake he'd ever witnessed. Right as her mouth twitched and the smallest sound came from her throat, he placed a fingertip on her mouth and pressed her head back, muffling a scream.
"I'm not enjoying this anymore than you," He bent down to be somewhat at eye level, finding to his dismay how little that helped, "I dunno what trick you pulled, but just reverse it and we can forget this happened."
She pushed his hand down to her chin, and he could almost see the muscles under her sleeves tensing up from the effort that alone took; but frankly, he felt too pissed to move it on his own.
"I-I didn't do this, I swear... I don't even know any growth spells. And- and," he felt something warm and wet hit the back of his hand, and she wiped her eyes with the back of her sleeve, "I'm not crazy enough to use it on you. Now if you could leave, I really need a nap after this." Himiko looked away and pushed his hand off with all her might. Her face was crimson and twisted in a pouty grimace that Kokichi could only guess was hiding fear. He looked down and realized his hand was brushing on her chest; he retreated it. His own chest felt hot and stuffy, and he heaved a frustrated sigh, shoulders dropping.
"Whether or not you did this on purpose, you're still finding a way to undo it. And if Monokuma's behind this you're still helping me get rid of this stupid growth. I don't want anyone else freaking out."
A creak drew his attention to his left. He glanced to find Tenko standing in the doorway, and by the time his mind caught up to his eyes, she was already screaming her lungs out.

Ello ello, got a hypothetical I like to think about a lot but I'm too shy to make a blog and post it.... if the student council, like Angie or Himiko, were able to make their members bigger like mini giants? How much drama would there be?
Too bad, this is a lovely idea. Regardless i'm glad i get to write it!
____
Word count: 1000
Summary: Having faith can't be so bad, believing in Atua can't be so bad. Starting a student council to enforce rules for their safety can't... well, it can be bad, but it should be okay. But turning the student council's girls into giants who can't even fit the room is absolutely as bad as it gets. And if you ask Shuichi, he's really not impressed.
____
It was only natural for all the students to need something to hold onto when they were jailed in grounds that may become their collective graveyard. Miu trapped herself in her lab for hours, piling useless inventions over her worries, Korekiyo hung in the shadows of the school, watching over his classmates to busy his mind; Kaito, himself and Maki met up to train at night.
As for Angie, she chose to hold onto Atua and spread what she deemed was their ultimate hope. Persuasive as she was, she had gotten quite a few of her classmates rallied for her cause. While Shuichi preferred rational over... What was clearly a cult, he didn't oppose the movement either. It couldn't be that bad if it helped them cope and prevented harm.
Rubbing fatigue off his eyes, he opened the door to the dining room. He looked at his classmates, his eyes widened, and he closed the door. It was as bad as it could get.
A hand smacking his shoulder made him jump out of his skin. "How's my favourite sidekick doing-? No offense, Maki."
"Kaito," Shuichi turned around and gave both a feeble wave, "Do me a favour and tell me I'm seeing things." he opened the door again. A second passed, and the taller boy screeched his lungs out.
"Hello-Hello! Don't be shy, come in." Shuichi turned around, and Angie wore the brightest smile Shuichi had ever seen, he almost needed to look away. Behind her stood there girls twice if not three times as tall as himself, their heads rubbing against the ceiling. He felt the blood drain from his veins.
"We've been waiting for you guys for hours, you're so slow. Anyway, let me introduce you all to the student council!" Behind her, Himiko, Tenko and Tsumugi shifted all in discomfort.
A moment of silence swept over the room. Shuichi felt tension almost prickling his back like electricity when he saw Maki step ahead of him. "This is nonsense. You two stay back." Her fists clenched and unclenched, she took a step towards Angie and disappeared in a flash.
Everyone in the room held their breath when they saw the assassin frozen in the middle of the room, a hand as large as her arm clutching her waist. Shuichi could feel the residual vibrations of Tsumugi's simple yet powerful gesture. He'd seen Maki in training, heard her youth stories; he knew what strength it took to stop her.
"Let go. It's with her that I want to talk," Maki kept a firm gaze on Angie, irises burning with anger and something he thought he'd never seen in her.
"Good girl, Tsumugi. This is a job well done." Angie approached the assassin and ruffled her hair. "What's wrong, Maki? Big sister Angie is here to look over all of you and make peace reign here," She clasped her hands and closed her eyes, her voice went softer, "Atua spoke to Angie. He told her if her friends didn't fear death, then they may fear something more tangible. This is just how harmony is brought upon a chaotic society of selfish people; there needs to be guardians, or police, or a student council."
Kaito took one step forward, and Tenko intervened. "If any of you boys come, Tenko will give you a taste of her neo-aikido," she tugged down at the frills of her skirt, "A-And no peeking!"
He didn't deflate under the girl's warning gaze, nor did he acknowledge her in any way as he kept going. "Alright, this is just bullshit. Monokuma!" He called out. The bear appeared behind him.
"No need to call me, that's copyright infringement! This bear hasn't heard his name anywhere, missy. You're lucky I'm getting all the ad revenue anyway."
"Your name?" Shuichi asked, "You mean, you're behind this?" Of course he was. Shuichi had thought so the moment he set foot in the room; the bear wouldn't let them rest easy.
"Well, duh. I just worry so much about you children's safety, it keeps me awake at night. That's why when your little friend asked me so nicely I decided to concede this little perk to her."
"And by perk, you don't mean something like a key..." Shuichi said. Angie gave him the nastiest look he'd received, and for a second he considered staying quiet but decided against it. "... Or anything all of us could have used otherwise?"
"Oh, Shuichi, Atua doesn't need any of th-" but he didn't hear the rest as Monokuma cut her off. "Yeah, she asked for this instead of a flashback light, so who am I to refuse?"
Chaos erupted in the dining room before he'd even finished his sentence. The now gigantic girls looked at each other and stepped further back in the room, sending vibrations under Shuichi's feet. Complains came left and right but Monokuma pointedly ignored them; his mouth stretched into one of those horrid leers.
"Puhuhu~ I can't wait to see what gruesome murders you ladies will commit." Angie gave him a hard glare at that.
"There won't be any murders, Angie is making sure of that."
"We'll see about that." With that, Monokuma disappeared, leaving the students to go about their days and ignore the elephant(s) in the room.
Seeing the three taller girls try to leave through the door was the saddest yet funniest thing he'd seen since being imprisoned in the academy. As soon as Himiko's hat peeked out of the door, a feminine scream (or moan, Shuichi couldn't tell) could be heard, and Miu came rushing in with Kiibo and Gonta trailing behind.
"Who the hell stole my size ray? That shit ain't for you hopeless virgin's kinks! That's copyright infringement!" Miu barked.
"Angie says it's for the student council only, to 'prevent murders'." Maki mumbled out an answer and stormed out of the room.
"Student council? A-Ah, Kiibs, didn't you say you were into this?" The inventor's face flushed and morphed into one of deep embarrassment that made Shuichi curious to look down, but feared what he could see trickling down her tights. "Y-You know... my offer to upgrade you still stands, i-if you catch my drift."
"Oh, right," Shuichi turned to their tallest classmate. "Gonta? Didn't you say you wanted to join as well?" The giant of a man nodded at him. Shuichi tried to conjure up the image of Gonta scaled up, but quickly chastised it off his mind with a shake of his head. He lifted his hand far up to place it on the gentleman's shoulder. "Do us a favor, and don't."

I’d love to see a giant!Shuichi with Kaito and Maki. Perhaps a modified training time?
Tumblr media
Absolutely! This is one of the top 3 asks that's been in the inbox and I'm a little sad it took so long to deliver, hope you all enjoy either way!
____
Word count: 1500
Summary: Kaito drags Maki far from school for training. She already isn't fond of training itself, but she likes it even less so when a dangerous individual joins them tonight.
____
It hadn't crossed Maki's thoughts that as a space enthusiast, Kaito would know the best spots for stargazing. But as he lead her through the dark depths of the woods, she thought it was the only reasonable explanation.
"We're almost there, just a little longer," the boy tugged her hand and walked ahead, leading the way as if she could somehow get lost on her own. She didn't retreat her hand, though.
Soon enough, they reached what Maki guessed was a clearing, exceptionally clear of trees too; a stark contrast to the thick woods they'd walked through with its closely-knit trees. Kaito cupped his hands and called out in the air, "Hey, Shuichi! Look who I brought."
She followed his eyes up towards the sky. Her mind blanked when she didn't see the starry sky but rather two moons- no; a pair of eyes peering down at her. The longer she stared, the clearer the shape of a head followed the eyes, likely taller than her whole, and the more she felt the nerves in her brain tangle up.
"Kaito!" She breathed out, in unison with whatever monstrosity hid in the shadows. The voice made her step back despite her best effort not to.
"Relax you t- Whoa whoa whoa whoa, hey! What's this?" Kaito pointed an accusatory finger at her. She followed his glare and found a knife in her fist she hadn't realized she'd grabbed. She wouldn't drop it, though.
"Kaito, you didn't tell me we would- you didn't tell me about this." She pointed with her knife at the giant- human- thing that stood a good thirty meters above her head. "Of course I'll bring something to defend myself if you bring me into your death traps all the times." She grabbed his arm and dragged him back on their track.
"Hold on, he's an okay guy, trust me! We train together every night and I thought you two could become good friends so that's why-" a sharp yank made him stumble forward and silenced him. She hurried on before she could feel any tremors following them.
"An okay guy? Do you hear yourself? That's what I mean by deathtraps, you can't make the entire world into your own big friend group." She replayed his words in her mind and sucked in a sharp breath. "How long have you been coming here? You're not meeting that- whatever again."
Maki felt a hand fall on her shoulder to make her halt, or at least attempt to. She only stopped to glance back at taller (but at least human) boy, still more focused on their surroundings.
"Why can't you trust me? Shuichi is a good guy and my friend. You could try to see for yourself, but if you won't then you can leave and I won't stop you." Before she could reply, he slipped from her grip and walked back.
The crazy moron. He surely didn't have anything to defend himself besides his fists and speeches. If anything happened to him she would be left alone to deal with the aftermath. Knowing him, no amount of force or reasoning would change his mind. Maki felt like tearing her hair off, but instead, she followed after him and made sure to smack the back of his head when she caught up.
"You'll regret this," she kept a firm grip on the knife under her skirt. Kaito only gave her a bright grin and didn't reply.
Once back to square one, it took a moment for the impossibly large face to appear above them again, half-hidden behind thick leaves.
"Kaito, this is a bad idea, you should let her leave." Maki watched the boy move and talk. Nothing looked odd about his face or behaviour, nor his speech. How strange it felt to look at someone so normal-looking, only scaled up to tower over her.
"How is this bad? He invited me to train, so I'll stay." Time crawled by before the being stepped out and sat across from her. Somehow assigning a body to the head made it less freakish, if only a bit.
He lifted his hand, and rather than grabbing her he only gave a feeble wave. "Besides Kaito I never got anyone to stay long enough to converse. Humans usually run away when they see me, so I don't know what to say... But hi, I don't bite." Kaito moved beside the giant... and gave him a pat on the knee.
"Well, this didn't go so bad, now did it?" Two glares settled heavy on the boy, and he audibly gulped. "R-Right. Anyway, it's fifty push-ups and sit-ups for today, and no slacking off." Kaito took his coat off and got to work right then. The girl looked up at the giant boy and he stared back; both looked at Kaito, blatantly ignorant or blissfully unaware of his absurdity. They followed his suit.
Maki finished the 'training' in a breeze. "I'm done," she didn't wait for a reply before stepping back to lean on a tree and watch over the duo. Kaito lay on his back without a care for push-ups, but Maki was more interested in the giant moving in what seemed like awkward warm-ups.
Even his smallest movement sent tremors under her threatened to make her lose balance. More than once did his feet get stuck between two trees, bending them and breaking twigs in dozens with only a twitch of his limb. Anytime he caught her peeking, his face would flush and he would look away, as would she. Kaito was as crazy as she'd judged seeing how close he stayed to 'Shuichi', who at least did try to keep his distance. What stupidy did he have stored in his brain, if he could stand to be so close to a guy so tall a flick of his fingers could snap his spine?
"I'm really glad you two met. Training with two people separately every night was starting to wear me out... Forget I said that." Kaito held his hand up to the sky and formed different angles with his fingers. Maki wondered which constellations he was looking at; she also wondered how training could tire him out when he always ended up stargazing halfway through.
The- Shuichi (the name left a strange aftertaste in her throat) abandoned training as well in favour of laying down on his stomach and laying his head down in crossed arms much too close to Kaito, who didn't acknowledge him. She had to wonder just how long the two had known each other; Kaito could make a week-long friendship feel like a lifelong one.
"Maki, right?" The voice startled her enough to flinch. She re-tightened her grip on her knife and looked at the giant boy, acknowledging him with a short nod. "Kaito's told me a bit about you.'
"He did? What did he say?" The idea of her conversations being laid bare to a stranger made her hair stand on its ends. She took a couple steps closer to the two boys.
"Nothing too interesting, the usual 'I'll befriend her whether she likes it or not' that he says about everyone. I only remember your name since he kept bringing it up." Large hazel eyes drifted to Kaito's resting form, pensive. "There was something you kept saying, too. What was it...?"
"Hey, not cool!" Kaito's eyes shot open, "You can't reveal the private stuff-" His face bumped into the giant's nose, silencing him.
"I remember now!" His hand came towards Kaito. Whatever he was about to say or do, Maki would never know, as she charged for his hand and ran her knife through its palm.
"Maki!" An arm reached around her waist and pulled her away. She turned around and found something almost hurt in the boy's expression that made her mind stop for a second, before looking him up and down and reminding herself she was responsible for his safety.
"No, it's fine. Being around me takes some getting used to." She glanced back at Shuichi, who kept his hand on the ground, as if hiding his scar in embarrassment. She would have liked to at least see her work. "Do me a favour, though, and don't ever aim for my eyes or something, 'cause that would end badly," He got up and stepped back away from them, but she swore there was a threatening hint in his tone.
Silence stretched on as the two underwent a stare-down, with Kaito stuck in-between and stuttering to sort the situation out. "Ah- look, it's getting late. We should get going. See ya, Shuichi."
"Right. Good night, Kaito," And when she turned around to leave, certain he would ignore her (and glad if he did), "I'll look forward to seeing you again, Maki."
She didn't reply and kept going forward. Kaito soon caught up to her. "I didn't know you were the scaredy type. Anyway, this didn't go as bad as I thought... if only you could put that knife away. Wh-Where'd you even get that? Anyway, you're coming tomorrow?"
A frown tugged at her lips, and she was quick to pull it back. She still had to come to make sure Shuichi wouldn't try anything. "We'll see."

So like, you’ve done tiny chihiro, but what about, giant chihiro 👁👁 Poor baby would be so freaked out
Freaky Chihiro is best Chihiro :D 👍
____
Word count: 1000
Summary: Taka gets an unexpected visitor at an unexpected time, in an unexpected situation.
____
Rather than his clock waking him up at six o’clock sharp, it was to rattling on his window that Taka woke up in the middle of the night.
His eyes snapped open to meet pitch black. Not the smallest bit of light filtered through the window. In the next instant, shoes and a shirt had already been put on, and Taka walked closer to the window, only guided by the incessant noise. It sounded like pounding on the glass, and it subsided before Taka reached it. Immediately after a gentle moonlight came through the glass and Taka could see his surroundings better. But no matter how far he looked, he couldn’t see anyone outside.
There, standing alone in the middle of his room, a shiver ran up Taka’s spine. He took a few steps back closer to his bed and let his gaze wander around to find any suitable weapon. His heart stopped when his room was plunged in darkness once again and the pounding came back, more urgent. He blindly reached for the heaviest book on his desk (A Synopsis of Elementary Results in Pure Mathematics, he believed,) and rushed for the handle. His grip on the book tightened when he heard a gasp somewhere and saw something black in front of him disappear right as he swung the window open.
“Who…?” He coughed, breathed in, and started again in a calmer, stronger voice, “Who’s there? Show yourself!” and his heart skipped several beats when a familiar voice replied, “H-Hey.”
A strangely-shaped shadow snuck up on him. Taka had to take a moment to calm his erratic heartbeat and look up to find a disproportionately large head and a pair of eyes boring into him.
“Taka, please don’t freak out-!”
The window was slammed shut.
Even if he blinked or closed his eyes, the image was still burned in his mind and eyelids. That was Chihiro, wasn’t it? But it couldn’t be Chihiro, and he knew he wasn’t having a bad dream.
He dropped the book back with a resonating thud that made him flinch and drew his attention back to the window, but the night’s tranquillity wasn’t further disturbed, yet. He couldn’t alert anyone at home, but he also absolutely couldn’t sneak out like a -God forbid - disobedient troublemaker. Both options went back and forth in his mind before he opened his door and snuck out on his tip-toes, guilt almost taking up more room in his mind than the issue at hand.
A voice greeted him right as he opened the door, “Hi, Taka. Again,” in a hushed, almost distressed whisper. He had to crane his neck up to meet his classmate’s eyes. “… I know, I can explain.”
“I- absolutely, please do. I’m listening.” It wasn’t every day that a person’s head could overshadow the moon.
Chihiro intertwined her fingers over her lap, trouble on her face reflecting his tenfold. “I was having trouble with sports, so I asked Seiko for help. She gave me this,” She held something up between her thumb and finger, and Taka had to squint hard to see the faintest reflection of moonlight on glass. “She said the effect would kick in roughly at midnight, b-but I think she gave me the wrong medicine.”
“The use of drugs on school grounds is strictly prohibited,” He gave the too-tall girl a hard look, but it was met with eyes full of shame and despair, “But I guess you’ve learned your lesson. What can I do to help?”
Silence stretched on between the two before Chihiro spoke again. “Well… You have the keys to school, right? I thought if you could just let me borrow the antidote from Seiko’s lab and tell her-“
His throat tightened so much he could hardly breathe. “Impossible! That’s-” But seeing the girl’s pleading look, he deflated, and his shoulders dropped. “Chihiro, going to school after five and without permission is against the rules. You can’t ask me that.”
“Please, I really can’t go to school like this.” She tugged down at her skirt, eyes drifting away from him. “B-Besides, fixing this may take a while, I may even need to skip a class or two, and we have finals next week.”
“I… suppose that’s a real issue.” And it seemed his classmate was in desperate need of help that only he could provide. Rules were there to ensure they underwent their educational journey in exemplary conditions, but if breaking them served that purpose better… “I can make an exception. But only this once! So don’t make a habit of it.”
“Oh, thank you!” He yelped when the world around him spun beyond comprehension; when it stilled, he felt what he could only guess was four fingers and a thumb larger-than-life around his back. His feet hung in the air but he didn’t focus on the sensation as much as the shudders surrounding him from everywhere and the erratic heartbeat in front of him. He stiffened in the unexpected embrace and felt warmth rise to his face.
Chihiro let go only a second later, and he grabbed at his burning ears. “Hold on, I’ll be back.” He went back to put on his uniform and grab his keys. He stood in the room for a moment, still dazed and in disbelief of what was happening and he was indulging; but if there was anything worse than breaking rules, it was to go back on his word.
Taka left the place and found Chihiro waiting for him right outside, her hand down on the ground with her palm up. “I can give you a ride, that would be quicker.”
His cheeks reddened again, but hopefully, the darkness would hide it. “I-I think some exercise won’t do harm. Let’s go.”

Word count: 1700
Summary: Overtaken by a sudden, overwhelming feeling of despair, Shuichi goes for a stroll alone at night and ends up putting himself in danger's hands.
____
He didn’t deserve his title. He didn’t deserve it and the ultimate initiative was merciless and didn’t want to change his situation. How could anyone call Ultimate Detective the boy who’d solved a case by accident and ruined a man’s life doing so? Shuichi didn’t like the sound of his title, he didn’t like it when his uncle or classmates would call him that, as if it was something to be proud of.
Shuichi went to the forest near his home. If he didn’t deserve his title yet then maybe he could earn it by solving the case of people disappearing there; if he couldn’t solve it, then he’d at least become one of them. He didn’t have a preference for the outcome as long as it changed his situation.
The night was dark and the snow was thick and Shuichi wondered if the missing people hadn’t died buried under feet and feet of snow. With every step he took his feet would sink in to knee level.
Up ahead and past impossibly tall trees there was a cabin. It was much larger than even his uncle’s place, but most importantly, the lights there were on. The detective hurried on to drag his feet there as fast as his tired brain would allow. When he got closer, he noticed a short girl playing in the snow outside. He tried to call out to her, but any words that formed in his mouth turned into a dry cough that cut his throat like glass shards. At least it did get her attention, but when she saw him she ran inside the cabin and slammed the door. Soon after, all lights went off.
Through the haze in his mind, it took a moment for Shuichi to realize he wasn’t supposed to still hear a set of shoes crunching on the snow after the girl had left. He turned around and looked left and right (he winced at the gesture; his neck felt stiff). As far as he could see in the darkness, there wasn’t anyone else. Then he turned back around and was faced with unfamiliar black. Up his gaze went, higher and higher upon white folds of fabric, until it settled on a grinning face looming overhead.
Shuichi’s mind didn’t comprehend the abnormality so much as it registered danger.
“Oh boy, look at this catch.”
A low whine escaped his lips, and Shuichi allowed his tired body to give out and sink deep in the snow until he could feel the cold seeping in at his forehead. He stayed there, paralyzed and frozen and oddly calm for maybe hours before he felt a faint pressure on his arm. Rather than get shattered like Shuichi feared it would, it only got pulled upward, dragging his body along until he could see the snowy scene again and a hand taller than himself pulling him up. Gravity fought to pull him down and Shuichi felt so heavy he couldn’t breathe. Only when he was lowered to rest his back against a wall could he finally take a deep breath in.
“Wouldn’t you know it, Shuichi Saihara came venturing here.” He barely caught the words past the blood roaring in his ears. Even with every limb and every muscle in his body worn down with exhaustion, he could still feel the pain of his heart pounding against his ribcage.
“How do you know me?” Despite his struggle to keep his mind awake and alert, Shuichi’s voice came out loud and clear, almost ready for an interrogatory. Past half lidded eyes, the detective tried to keep his gaze firm on the giant. It was an odd feeling for Shuichi not to properly realize the presence of a titanic boy with him; it felt almost trivial, like a fact read in textbook. He wanted to be more afraid, to run off and go back home and to his uncle, but he couldn’t get his body to move and act, couldn’t hold back the curiosity that could get him in trouble.
“The news. Congrats on the Ultimate title.” He only heard the words but didn’t see lips moving. Shuichi opened heavy eyes he didn’t realize he’d closed and looked again at the gigantic, childish face with a large grin and deathly pallor. He wondered if the stranger wasn’t born on the coldest day of the year.
The second time he noticed his eyes had closed was when Shuichi felt more of the cold, gentle pressure but only saw darkness. He cracked a lazy eye open and saw two hands wrap a monochromatic cloth around his frame. Even with his hazy mind and spotty vision, he could see every smallest detail of the large hands and snow white skin with remarkable clarity; he felt like a doll between these hands.
His gaze was lost in the snow white skin until the hands retreated and he snapped back to reality. A single shiver ran through his body, and Shuichi grasped the fabric and wrapped it tighter around himself. A moment later, all at once, he felt the cold biting down every inch of his skin, and his body was overcome with a series of uncontrollable shudders. Heat seeped in his freezing limbs, the air in his lungs warmed up, the fog in mind cleared, and Shuichi exhaled sharply when he finally looked far up at the strange being with all the wariness and fear he should have felt long ago.
Shuichi couldn’t help but think he looked slightly different, only he couldn’t exactly pinpoint the change.
“Looking better already! Now, what brings you here?”
“… I’m not sure.”
“Hmm? You should, though. You know people who come here never come back,” Then the giant boy’s face lit up and his eyes gleamed with joy, “Or perhaps, is that what you want?”
Was it? Shuichi wasn’t sure, he didn’t know a whole lot at the moment; he didn’t know why he had followed his whim and ventured in a forest on a winter night, didn’t know why he hadn’t thought of how worried his uncle would be, didn’t know who the girl was and why she’d hid from him, didn’t know why he was having a civilized conversation with a massive stranger who could squeeze his organs out with a single finger over his chest. But at the very least, Shuichi knew for sure that he didn’t want to deal with the surrealism of his situation any longer, he didn’t want to worry his uncle. He wanted to go home. Gaze still firm on the pair of gigantic purple eyes, Shuichi shook his head.
The other boy let out a long, dramatic sigh. “What a shame, I really wanted you in my collection, but I guess that’s not happening today.”Shuichi didn’t protest more than a sputter when the hands taller than him came closer and cupped around his bundled-up form. His breath hitched in his throat, and he wrapped his arms tighter around himself when he felt gravity shift and heard an “Upsy-daisy,” from above.
The giant boy stood up to his full height, and Shuichi swore to himself he wouldn’t look down to the ground. Instead, he looked up to the stars shining over his head. The sky looked nothing like what he’d see back home, when he’d go to the rooftop on lonely nights. Shades of colors mixed and merged in the sky, dark indigo faded into soft lilac and charcoal. Yellow ocher met rosewood and hints of dull orange and every shade in between like a flower field, shifting and swirling about. Millions of tiny sparks of dead stars shone bright in the galaxy, scattered about like broken glass, some shards bigger, brighter than others. A clear night sky would reflect the Milky Way, Kaito had told him once. Kaito would have loved this place.
Several fleeting thoughts filled the detective’s head, millions as the stars in the night sky. He settled for the question that had brought him there, “Where do the missing people go?”
“Oh, those? I ate them for dinner,” The giant boy eyed him down. His eyes, too, reflected galaxies and flower fields and broken glass, and Shuichi took a second too long to tear his gaze away and react to statement with a grimace. The boy only spared him a quick smirk before looking away. “Kidding, kidding. Fine, I’ll let you on a little secret if you promise not to tell the authorities.” He nodded, then had to wait a moment for the giant to speak. “They don’t wanna come back, and I make sure that doesn’t happen. But that’s not what you want, right? Where do you live?”
Shuichi stayed silent for a moment; mulling the answer over, thinking back to the strange girl he’d seen. His frustratingly tired mind couldn’t come up with a satisfying deduction, so he moved on and gave his vague address.
“So we’re neighbors, huh? Wild. You should totally rent somewhere else. Anywaaay, let’s pretend all of this was a dream, ‘kay? Buh-bye, Shuichi, hope I’ll never see you again here.” One last time, he looked back to the cabin the woods, before letting his eyelids drop and his consciousness drift off.
When he woke up in his room, Shuichi didn’t feel any less tired then when he’d gone to sleep in his bed. Cold gripped his bones and nipped at his skin, a strong gust of icy wind hit his cheek, and Shuichi winced and shuddered. He got up and walked over to his window. Before closing it and going back to sleep, he let his gaze wander over to the sky, pitch black with tiny stars shining here and there if he squinted hard enough. He frowned, let his head drop down and his gaze get lost in the milky white snow.
