Aitax: Where's Doa and Atoa?

Zalia: He went out.

Aitax: They're grounded.

Zalia: Are they not supposed to be let out when they're grounded?

Zalia: Okay, I have one, if you were to die, what would your last words be?

Jiya: Finally-

Aitax: NO.

Aitax: Are you an idiot, or an idiot?

Jiya: The first one. I really resent being called the second.

Aitax: You weren't able to talk sense into him?

Zalia: Well, we kind of tried to kill each other in a duel to the death.

Aitax: I see. You tried the diplomatic approach.

Zalia: So, I think I'm in touch with the other side.

Jiya: The other side of...

Zalia: The other side.

Atoa: Is 4 a lot?

Zalia: Depends on the context. Berries? No. Murders? Yes.

Aitax: Before I do anything, I ask myself, would Jiya and Zalia do that? And if the answer is yes, I do not do that thing.

Aitax: I made tea.

Jiya: I don't want tea.

Aitax: I didn't make tea for you. This is my tea.

Jiya: Then why are you telling me?

Aitax: It's a conversation starter.

Jiya: That's a lousy conversation starter.

Aitax: Oh, is it? We're conversing. Checkmate.

Zalia's Gauntlets

Zalia is not the most adept at using a lightsaber. Mostly because she would instead read than train with it and partly because she never really got any field experience with it. It's not very helpful for punching people in the face either, and that's much more satisfactory. Stun Gauntlets are her favourite things since like ever. She can punch people in the face and electrocute people too. What's not to love? Her lightsaber is mostly used to cut down obstacles really. It'll occaisionally get passed around the crew and used for a wide variety of things. Like that one pair of scissors that gets left in the kitchen and used by everyone for everything, standard use or not. Need to cut some wires? Lightsaber. Need a light to walk to the fresher in the middle of the night? Lightsaber. Community lightsaber for the win. It'll go missing for weeks before it gets found again. Very rarely actually used as a weapon.

The Stun Gauntlets, however, are easy to carry around and never get lost. Can't be seen with them because of stealth? Pockets. Once she found herself a good pair of gauntlets, there was no going back.

Getting used to them took a while. This was most unfortunate for Jiya as Zalia kept forgetting to turn them off...

It was a lesson learnt quickly.

Meeting Doa and Atoa

So Doa and Atoa look like they could be twins. This is all a front, and they aren't even the same species. One of them is Togruta and the other Twi'lek. They met on the streets of Coruscant when they were younger. Together they made quite the team in order to survive on the streets. It was hard to blame one for a crime if they had a credible alibi after all. These girls get up to all sorts of trouble pinching the food and supplies they need to survive as well as a little extra every now and then for other street kids that they meet. The kids of the street teach each other how to fight and fight dirty. It's about survival. They pick up knives plenty of small concealable weapons here and there. It's all too easy to pick up unaccompanied kids and sell them off to the highest bidder after all. 

It's not until the pair are around 12 (or at least that's how old they think they are roughly) that they manage to run into the Trio. Aitax is looking for parts while Jiya and Zalia go on a date. 

Doa and Atoa's disguise trick feel through at the worst moment because a street kid sold them out. The pair are absolutely furious, and there are quite a few people that would like to find them. They want a way out, and they need it now. Which of course when they run into Aitax. And a small-time bounty hunter. Aitax, of course, is a mother hen and instantly adopts them (mentally at least). Now the bounty hunter is trying to track down Doa, Atoa and Aitax as they evade them and feels like half the city. Which is when Aitax contacts Jiya and Zalia for an extraction. Jiya and Zalia are surprised, to say the least, but are very supportive.

Queue Aitax punching the bounty hunter in the face and a leap of faith. Literally. The Trio have to jump onto the speeder that Jiya has rented out for the day. Doa and Atoa are much more thrilled than Aitax. Aitax gives up hope on ever teaching them that dangerous stunts are not okay. They're already off to a bad start on that front.

Jiya: We're lost.

Atoa: Lost? As in "where the hell are we?"

Jiya: We're not totally lost. We just don't know where we are.

Doa: You said this was a shortcut.

Jiya: It is a shortcut! Look how fast we got lost!

Aitax: Is anyone going to tell me what's going on in here?!

Atoa: It's kind of complicated, but Zalia and Jiya-

Aitax: Got it. Forget I asked.

Aitax: *Answers comm.* Hello?

Jiya: It's Jiya.

Aitax: What did she do this time?

Jiya: No, it's me, Jiya. It's actually me.

Aitax: What did you do this time?

Aitax: I personally don't think it's possible to come up with a crazier plan.

Jiya: We could attack them with handfuls of dirt.

Aitax: I stand corrected.

Jiya: Just keeping things in perspective.

Jiya: I'm a firm believer in "if you're going to fail, you might as well fail spectacularly."

Aitax: That sounds like a terrible plan.

Zalia: Oh, we've had worse.

Jiya: I wasn't hurt that badly. The medical droid said all my bleeding was internal. That's where the blood's supposed to be.
