During services this weekend at Gateway Church, we were reminded of a famous speech by Martin Luther King, Jr. where he spoke to the importance of our character as opposed to focusing on the color of our skin, age, financial status, etc. During the service, we all joined hands, united across the aisles as one body, one race, one nation under God with one kingdom purpose: to share the love of Jesus and make disciples. John 4:50 this scripture really stood out to me this morning. There is something very special about the words "The man took Jesus at his word and departed."
