shout out to all the people who identify with gifted kid burnout syndrome who are probably just neurodivergent but werent diagnosed as a child, who used to devour books like it was nothing and never really understood why the protagonist would leave their cool fantasy world behind to go back home at the end of the story, and who are now extremely disappointed in reality and use escapism as their primary coping mechanism. how’s that bisexuality and deep-rooted anger at the school system going for you?

To all the aros who don't quite fit with aro community stereotypes:
It's okay if you don't like frogs or plants or the colour green. It's okay if you don't relate to random aro-culture things. You're still aro, and I appreciate you.

To my fellow trans aros in Florida:
I understand this is a stressful time for us. Take a break if you need to. You're doing amazing 💕

To all the aros who are getting invalidated this valentines day.
I'm not going to tell you how there's other types of love you might feel, or how your valentine can be a "palentine" or something. I understand how annoying that message can be. I'm here to tell you that you don't have to have a care about valentines day. You don't have to even care that the next day is discount chocolate day because I bet some of you don't even like chocolate. I know there's some romance-repulsed aros who feel like the entire world is mocking them right now. I know there's some romance neutral aros who feel confused at all this romantic love going around. I know there's some romance favourable aros feeling like they've betrayed the rest of the aros for not hating this holiday.
I'm here for all of you.
To the aros being told to just "try love" or "try romance"
You don't have to. Romantic relationships are totally optional. You don't need to have a relationship to be whole, romantic or otherwise. If you know you don't work well in romantic relationships, you don't have to try (again). I know, the amount of romantic stuff coming in can be overwhelming. Walking into work or school, or even a supermarket can be tiring and overwhelming. I understand, if there's anyone you need to talk to, my box is open.
I'm here for all of you.
All of you. Aros, Aroaces Alloaro non-SAM-Aros Aro-spec and questioning any of those identities. I'm here.

tumblr update that is actually helpful:
every time someone gets a notification i posted (if they have notifs on) it plays a custom short audio clip you can custom insert from your theme page. your followers cannot change your own notif noise. either world peace, or chaos ensues

Currently 15, although that's subject to change.

That's totally fair, maybe it's a subculture thing where I live
Do straight ppl have a "type" of their own gender?
Idk if that makes sense.
Does a straight (not necessarily cis) man have a type in men?
I wouldn't think so but some dude who I assumed was straight was talking about this dude he thought was hot.

I thought about this too, but then "hot" isn't the best word for aesthetic attraction imo.
I was probably confused
