obsessing over a man that’s been dead for 32 years sure wasn’t on my summer bingo card but here we are

Probably doesn’t mean anything but I want to point out that our new pal has an almost identical color palette to one of Prunella’s classmates.

The new guys surfer persona makes me feel that he isn’t in Sugar Springs but if he’s related to the kid it would give him ties to the place, where we know at least 5 of the 12 keys reside.

While it may be obvious that the snow globe girl, who I will be further calling Pinky, resembles Silver. I found something else as well

In ep 24 we need to talk about buddy a very similar design as Pinky is used to represent the heroine. I’d guess that Pinky not only resembles Silver, but represents her as well. so when this happens:

I’m left a bit aghast. Not only does Violet purposefully break Pinky, she does it to steal her crown. If Pinky really does represent Silver, what does this mean? Is it foreshadowing? Or could it be representative of what has already happened? After all, we were introduced to Silver very much broken and while Violet implies it’s because of trusting a human… what if it was her own fault, either ignorant or malicious, and has taken Silver’s spot as the key in charge.

fell down a bit of a rabbit hole and made this Hollow Family Tree + a small list of each of their physical attributes

I’m a bit tired so this is all I’m doing for now but I might go into further detail later.

Though I’ll say I think it’s cute that while most of the children are (presumably) a fusion of both parents Chase is pretty much a clone of his father.

ladhsjsnssk ok so I actually was checking itch.io and tumblr every now and then (winding up finding and reading the entire zine about 15 minutes after it was posted) And I really wanted to say I appreciate everyone who contributed to the zine, organizers and all participants! You guys are so crazy talented and creative. I’m super honored to have participated on such a cool project with such awesome people. Thank you so much for all your hard work!!!! Looking forward for season 2, this lovely community, and onwards!

WHAT?! TWO shepherd posts in a month?! AND ONE OF THEM IS ANIMATED?! That’s the power of summer break my friends…

I feel like I could have done better on this if I just spent a little more time on it, but I think I’m gonna lay off this one for a while. I had fun and that’s really all that matters I think!
