Frobin is so hard to write a fanfic about because there’s no huge conflict between them. With ZoSan you can have Sanji questioning his ever fragile heterosexuality or both of them slowly stop denying their feelings. NamiVivi can be a more serious version of two people realizing their feelings for each other before they ultimately have to separate. UsoKaya can be about both of them remembering each other. Frobin’s got none of those problems. They’re both mature adults who can deal with their feelings. It just sucks because I love this ship but I can’t do anything with it. I guess Water 7/Enies Lobby will forever remain the greatest Frobin fanfiction.

The repulsed a-spec fandom experience of liking a certain ship but only in such a specific non-amatonormative way that you have to block the shipping tag on Tumblr because the common portrayal literally makes you want to claw your eyes out.
