This may not be too much of a shock, but video games have been such an important part of my life. I’ve spent more hours than I can count navigating fantasy worlds as the courageous hero as well as inciting mass chaos. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, I’ve thrown my controller. Through good times and bad, I’ve been able to switch on my PlayStation and get lost in another world. So, in celebration of National Video Games Day, Becca and I are sharing our favorite video games with you! These are the games that we’ve played and re-played time and time again. The ones that have changed our lives.

Happy International Video Game Day! There are two questions that I get asked on an almost daily basis from both new and old gamers: “What’s your favorite game?” and “Can you give me a list of recommendations?” I love love love talking about video games; when someone even mentions the hobby, my ears perk up and my voice gets even more annoyingly high-pitched. And, the conversation usually ends with me rambling like a complete moron.
