britney spears has lost the court case, again, to end her father's conservatorship over her, and it makes me so fucking SAD that no one is in her corner, apart from like... britney stans that the rest of public opinion and internet treats as a joke. hashtag free britney itself started as a joke. meanwhile, she's now saying that she will not perform any more as long as her father has control over her, and still, no one seems to be in her corner. she has been infantilized since the beginning of her career, and her mental breakdown added that extra ~insanity~ layer to it all, thus turning her into someone who is treated condescendingly, with pity, with sarcasm, like a lobotomized version of her former self performing for others to make fun of her. but she is not given empathy. where is the fucking compassion?? not even out of nostalgia for a pop icon formative for an entire generation, in the full meaning of the word? who is having britney's back?? she deserves so much more.

Thought I would try my hand at Polaroid sized paintings. I love the smaller one but ended up over working the larger one and messed that up a bit too much for my liking. Other than that i think I am going to keep trying to paint at these sizes more often, just to keep myself in practice.

I am slowly slowly catching up. Some of the prompts I have aren't sitting well with me. I think I may be just a little drained from trying to catch up. I may do one or two more then call it done. I am proud of what I have done so far and I have improved quite a bit and purchased more ink since I first started. I guess I will try again next year

Slowly slowly catching up. I haven't been in much of a mood to paint but yesterday I completed these 2. I am struggling to put some of the prompts I have together but it is definitely helping me catch up faster. These drawings are also half the size of my previous ones which is a nice change

I have exams coming up so I haven't had a chance to do any art since the 10th. I don't think when I will get the chance to catch up until the 18th when my exams are over.. but I am aiming to both catch up and finish inktober by the 31st

Inktober days 4 & 5

These days prompts were skeleton and raven. Both of which I am quite proud of, especially in the sense of limiting my use of colour and actual artistic style.

I bought a nice new Prussian Blue ink and have fallen in love with the beautiful colour. I think I will be using it a lot throughout the rest of the month.

Tomorrow I will also upload days 6 and 7, cause I should have time to do so

Day 1: antlers

I'm not using a specific prompt list this year so it's kind of like a surprise to see what I come up with. Day 1 didn't exactly turn out how I wished it would but I think I can make up with that with the days to follow.

More pokefusions, this time with names. Still terrifying, yet cool. This time I took a bit more creative liberty to meld the two pokemon into one, especially with the "gloomie" and "magnefable".

I have decided to draw a few pokefusions, starting with the paras x oddish evolutionary line. While a bit messy I am happy with this. My girlfriend describes them as the thing of nightmares. I think they are adorable weed-bugs spreading their spores everywhere.

It's been months since I last did any form of art and with inktober next month I thought I should probably start warming up. I'm not going to lie, this was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be and I struggled to accept what it looked like at the half way point but now, with it complete I am super happy with it and love the way it turned out.

Huevember days 1 to 6

I made a list based of scenes from kpop music videos. I am incredibly proud how these turned out. I struggled to do some scenes I wanted but the ones I ended up with look pretty cool.

I am sadly 7 days behind in this. But I plan to catch up. Either slowly or as quickly as I can...

Finally all caught up and finished! Towards the end it became a little difficult to find some inspiration for the last few prompts. But it's done. Even if some of the work isnt what I was hoping for i am still happy that I managed to finish it.

I have been a little busy this past week and ended up falling behind in terms of daily drawing. I am finally catching up, but it's slow and a little difficult to push out several different ideas in one day. But there are only 5 more drawings left and I hope to finish them off in time for the end of Inktober today/tomorrow
