Nancy Miller: writer, show runner and good Catholic. Nancy  taught Amelia that you can be a fierce artist/business woman WHILE still upholding your personal values. AND that loyalty and kindness to those that work for you will create family environment that will go the extra mile.  

Heather Cappiello: director of film, tv, and a bad ass parent. Heather taught Amelia to trust her instincts, to be a careful with who you show your work to at each stage of a project, and that hard work is valuable but also know when it is time to runaway with the circus for awhile.

Dia says she had an artwerky moment watching a facilitator rephrase everyone in the room to make himself look smart. DON’T DO THAT!!!!  it’s not Artwerky, it’s rude!  Instead, when you capture ideas on a flip chat, use the language people use.  Need to rephrase for clarity?  Ask permission.
