Pour la même raison qui fait que j'ai besoin de faire appel à un plombier ou une électricienne parce qu'il ou elle possède des savoirs et des compétences que je ne possède pas : existe-t-il un métier ou un service pour les gens qui aimeraient bien s'habiller mais qui n'y arrivent pas ? Ça parait stupide, dit comme ça, mais j'ai beau regarder des vidéos ootd ou avoir l'impression de savoir ce que je fais en jouant à Infinity Nikki, la réalité c'est que je ne possède pas cette capacité de voir un vêtement et d'être capable de l'imaginer dans une tenue, de le styliser, de voir comment le *porter* et pas de juste le mettre sur soi. Le résultat c'est que je rêve d'avoir un style... sans avoir les compétences pour le réaliser. Je possède une poignée de vêtements dépareillés, que j'ai trouvé cool individuellement, mais qui ne forment rien ensemble. Le résultat est que tous les matins je m'habille telle une pnj dont les développeurs ne savaient pas trop quoi faire. Je me suis rendue compte qu'avoir un sens esthétique et être capable de lui donner vie, c'est une compétence au même titre que n'importe quelle autre compétence. Et malheureusement mes efforts pour apprendre ce savoir-faire ne mènent à rien.

D'où ma question : est-ce qu'il existe des services du style ? Des gens qui proposent de l'aide à la création de garde robe de la même façon qu'on engage des artistes pour créer des fresques murales ou des ouvriers pour refaire le carrelage ?

Le jeu des drapeaux

Mon amour de Stargate Atlantis pour son histoire, son écriture, son lore et ses personnages ne saurait égaler la joie sans nom que j'éprouve quand je crie "ALLEMAGNE !" "SUÈDE !" "AFRIQUE DU SUD !" "MEXIQUE !" quand un figurant passe en arrière-plan.

Parfois, je vais jusqu'à faire pause et retour en arrière, image par image, jusqu'à bien voir l'épaule gauche du personnage, puis j'ouvre wikipédia.

C'est comme ça que je sais qu'il y a juste un Français sur la base d'Atlantis mais deux Belges !

I'm alive. Here you're a beautiful and silly Todd the Wraith. He is based on a fairy pattern I found in a crochet magazine. He's so silly I mean you can squeeze it, and toss him across the room (for scientific reasons obviously). I was thinking about crocheting Todd for a while now, but better later than never.

It’s officially the first day of summer in the northern hemisphere ☀️ It’s been a really cold June so far, but from past experience, I know it can suddenly turn blazing hot. And then the only thing left to do is go swimming in some cool water! As much as I dislike the heat, there’s truly nothing like swimming in the summer 💙

Okay, just a friendly reminder that when The Full Moon airs, not everyone will watch it within the next hour, and it's good fandom etiquette to tag spoilers for at least the first 3 or 4 days after new content airs! (Ideally the first couple of weeks)

My favourite bit of BG3 lore is that Withers is legitimately responsible for the Dead Three, but he's probably too embarrassed to tell you, so every time you ask him to elaborate he just gives you a very stern, "Noooo."

I also love that the reason he's responsible for their uprising is because he got bored. He literally got bored of his position as Lord of the Dead and wanted to retire, so when these three morally questionable humans came looking for godhood he was like, "Hmmm. Yes, okay. Here. Take my portfolios. Fight over them. I don't care. I quit."

So after bowling with skulls in a friendly competition to decide who would get what portfolio, they took up his powers and wreaked havoc on the world. Only at that moment did Jergal, AKA Withers, AKA our precious Bone Daddy think, "I'm just now, internally, asking myself, in quite a worried way, whether I might've made an error."

So he joins your merry band and watches your escapades, calmly twiddling his fingers while you clean up his mess. He's happy to lend his aid, even to the point that he'll bring Durge back to life if they reject Bhaal, even though he technically shouldn't. But he's Withers. The rules don't apply to him. If Ao doesn't like it, he can descend from the Heavens and say it to his rotting face.

And the reason he saves Durge isn't necessarily because he likes them or because he's a morally good entity (though one certainly could make that argument), but because he wants to add insult to injury. He steals Bhaal's child with a big smile on his face, dubs them his Chosen, and praises them for rejecting all the power they were promised. But of course, he still doesn't tell them who he is—or rather who he was.

Then, when all is said and done, he throws Tav and their companions a cute little party. No one knows it's probably half a thank you party and half a "Withers is bored again" party. And if anyone misbehaves, he'll get irritated and whisk them away. Because how dare they? He put a lot of work into that.

And at the end of it all, he walks up to a mural of the Dead Three and basically goes, "Lmao. Thou didst fuck around, and thou didst find out." Just savagely roasting them.

And then poof!

He waves them into non-existence.
