Video game sheet music

What is with the video game music fan community? Every website, blog, or link sharing site that I try and get sheet music for guitar or clarinet hasn't been updated in like 7 years. Isnt video game music like the most memorable part of the games? Like 90 percent of the people I was in band class with where there because they wanted to learn video game music. What happened? Did there use to be a thriving musical community around appreciating the lovely compositions in games and I'm just late? Or do I need to fucking invent it like a cult xD?
