PINCH HITTER NEEDED ASAP

I’m still looking for a pinch hitter for group 15. Info below:

Summary: When Dean returns from Hell, he’s a wreck. Between what was done to him, and what he had done, he really doesn’t want to even try to track down Sam or Bobby. So, he does what anyone in his situation would do. He busts into the gas station across the street from where he wakes up and gets drunk off his ass. Drunk enough to imagine the trickster there, telling him that everything was going to be alright.

When he wakes up to find the trickster still hanging around, and he’s trying to tell Dean that there’s a reason that he’s been brought back, and that something important needs to be stopped, and Dean is one of the few that could potentially stop it. Dean doesn’t listen, and tries to leave.

That is, until the trickster mentions Sam.

The trickster tells him that Sam made a mistake, and was manipulated into releasing Lucifer from his cage, vanishing without a trace after. Dean now has to find a way to either put him back, kill him, or redeem him, all while trying to stay sane amongst trying to find his missing brother, and surviving the various torturous attempts by the more extremist angels trying to cause the end of everything.

And to top it all off, he’s pretty sure the trickster, might not be telling the truth about who he is, Lucifer, the Devil himself, seems to be showing more and more interest in Dean, and… he’s not sure if he cares. He might even be starting to enjoy the mystery and attention that they’re giving him.

Warnings: Canon typical violence, comments that could be taken as acephobic

This is a continuation of last years story. It has Dean and Castiel exploring their new relationship and life. Dean is ace specifically and it is implied that Castiel is as well, though never outright mentioned.

Of Fake Boyfriends and Bad Pick-Up Lines

In the name of revenge, he comes up with a plot to 1) Fake date the only person who can consistently and without fail get under Dean’s skin and 2) Obnoxiously flaunt the relationship in his face every chance he gets. He pitches the plan to Gabriel (who else could be up for the task?) and between one blink and the next everything has spiraled out of control; One dinner date turns into dozens and, what the hell? They aren’t even double dates anymore, they’re just… dates.

How did this happen? More importantly, why hasn’t Sam put a stop to it? As the weeks pass, his list of Reasons Sam+Gabe Could Never Ever Not-In-This-Lifetime Ever Work grows larger and so does his unwillingness to put a stop to their prank.

It is still a prank… Right?

Author Notes: While this is technically the sequel to Of Notecards and Bad Pick-Up Lines (a strictly destiel get-together fic) it can easily be read as a stand-alone.
