Before aventurine and ratio officially started dating, there were times where Aventurine was very very tired after a mission and decided to use Ratio's shoulder as a pillow for him to nap on. Ratio couldn't move until he woke up, he didn't want to disturb him.

Or another time where ratio was very very stressed out and Aventurine came to his office to find ratio staring at his work with bags under his eyes and squinting. Aven walked over to him to stand next to him, but Ratio just leaned over to rest his head on Aventurine’s stomach (bc aven was still standing and ratio was sitting down). He eventually turned more so his whole face was pushed into avens stomach, and he just let himself breathe, he let himself take a break and indulge in the only form of comfort he could think of. Ratio still does things like this when they are dating too, he finds Aventurine so relaxing and grounding, and all he wants to do is nuzzle in and hide from the world to rest.
