I legitimately cried for a few minutes after reading the goodbye letter. 😭

Participating in this ask blog as been a pleasure. I didn’t expect to get as invested or attached as I did. It’s bittersweet to reach the end.

Thank you, Mod, for the wonderful story and experience. I’ll never forget it. 😌

Aw thank you so much!!! I always wanted to see the most agitated spirit (Cass) get a redemption arc with William. She just seems so left out and Williams typically portrayed as irredeemable outside of YN fanfic (and even then everyone keeps the killer stuff cause it's hot)

You were always great out there, especially when the story got kinda difficult to write for me. (You really kept it going!!!) I'll treat you to some more of my head cannons for them in this AU

🐰Williams fave soda is orange, he hates grape. Loves to make floats with peppermint ice cream.

🐰In life he was a HEAVY smoker, but now bros got new lungs and will not return to that habit.

🐰Bros gonna get hella rich from selling prosthetics and medical aids. (Most of which will go to a missing case charity he's created. Partially to undo his mistake, partially cause of the tax write off. All his companies are sleezy, he'll never stop that)

🐰William could never identify the source of his sadistic urges. As most serial killers can't. His main drive was the feeling of control.

🐻Cassidys body laying in her bed will be an endless comfort to her brothers. To them she's finally home safe every night.

🐻In her afterlife she's with both parents. And it was her idea to send the miracle. Will took too long to wake up and see her, but a great chunk of that energy came from her.

🐻The blob exploding represented the damage from what he's done shattering. She was the last victim hanging on and him letting her get revenge healed her.

🐻Her afterlife has a perfect recreation of her childhood home, and when her brothers return their spirits will be teens again, 80s hair and all.

Dear Anons

I don't know if you can hear this, probably not, but it's been a few months of being alive again, and things are going...well. Probably none of you can hear me, and I don't blame you, this is just a letter I'm writing mentally to get myself to sleep.

Things were...new, and difficult at first, but it's all improving. I've been working on multiple robotic projects recently, this time I want to do some good outside of entertainment.

Vanessa and Gregory both got out of the hospital, and waiting for them was their now ex bear friend Freddy. He's got the new alias of Fredrick Phaser, and a human form to occupy. They're all a happy family. All three of them have now called me dad accidentally atleast once. I'm hoping that they can do it intentionally.

Chris healed and has been raising Cassie, we've smoothed everything over. And Caden's my new partner, just not in the business sense.

I really wish that I could thank you, all of you. You all helped me out a lot, even at my worst. Especially you @coolestzed something tells me that if anyone finds this letter, it'll be you.

Getting better was never easy, but you always softened the blows. I haven't heard any of your voices in months, but they still help me nonetheless. Guess this is my goodbye, even if you might never hear it. So goodbye everyone, and thank you.

*William pulls back a little breathless*

*William stuffs the paper in his pocket, on it is Vanessas phone number. He walks away from the entrance, the sun begins to rise and the sky goes from a deep purple to a golden yellow. William stands on the front step, and knocks on the door. Chris answers.*

Here...

*He hands him the girls body. Chris looks at him confused*

She found you were safe and...moved on. I caught a glimpse of what it's like on the other side. Don't worry, she's with your parents now.

*Chris holds her in his bandaged hands, not saying a word. Caden stands behind him, unmoving*

We should...get her to bed. Cades, do you want to-? I'm hurt-

*Caden picks her up, and all three of them head up to her room to tuck her in. Everyone makes sure that she's in a comfortable position and puts the blanket on her*

Looks cozy...

Are your hands alright?

I cut my wrists on accident while struggling...they'll heal

That's a relief.

*William starts walking out.*

Can we...talk on the front step? I brought soda...

Yeah...I'd like that.

*William lays Cassidy inside the bag, crossing her arms over her chest*

*He stands up, turning to the others*

You all need a check up. We're going there, and we're staying in touch, got it? I've got an idea for Freddy, and I'll have to know you two in order to bring him back.

*Everyone starts to walk out*

*William attempts to stand, but winces in pain and grabs his ankle.*

Cassidy... Cassidy, I think I'm hurt-

*He gasps looking at his foot.*

But how?! Thats- That's impossible! Thats-

*He looks at her still motionless on the floor, everyone is. He crawls to her, nudging her shoulder*

Wake up. Wake up! This isn't funny Cass.

*He slides her shirt up slightly and presses on her stomach, opening the hatch.*

So it didn't work on her too... Did she-?

She moved on, didn't she?

[William! Cassie! You guys both did it, great job!]

How's Chris?

[I'm slightly banged up, but it's nothing serious, how about you two?]

*William pulls off his shirt and tears off a sleeve, bandaging up his ankle, as Vanessa and Gregory wake up.*

Never better, especially her. Look, there's something serious we need to talk about when we get back. I've got to walk two people to the hospital, then carry her home. Should be there before sunrise.

[Need one of us to drive you?]

No, no...I want some time to think.

[Well...alright, keep us posted.]

*Hot metal shoots out, scattering like a black rain, William lies flat on his back before curling up in a ball on the floor*

Owww, my head...

*A white mask with red blush and lipstick hovers in front of his face. White pupils glowing in their center stare through him as he smiles crazed.*

I'm in actual hell aren't I? Cassies was just an appetizer?

Do you think we all still hate you?

*William turns his head away, feeling the cold floor on his back*

Well, you quite certainly still have your reasons to.

*A hand grabs the back of his collar and drags him out into the dim orange light of the room. He looks at the mess of wires above him, who have enveloped everyone in the group, the only part to show being one of Vanessas boots.*

It's over now, William.

Henry?!

*He turns around to see Henry, Charlotte, Michael, Elizabeth, Evan, and Clara standing there.*

Is...is it my time to go?

I don't think so Dad.

*He sighs*

Am I just not allowed to rest with all of you? I get it...

Nobody's saying that William.

We all still care about you.

And we want you back.

But it's just not your time yet.

*The darkness swells around William as he blinks slowly, regaining consciousness*

*The machine is repeatedly bashed and hit, sparks fly with lively screeches, almost as if the AI was crying out in pain, eventually a box is exposed underneath all the parts. It's labelled high voltage*

Dibs?

*Everyone fails to notice the black snakelike tentacles gathering at their feet.*

Dibs!

*Both hit the box and sparks fly out wildly before everyone is grabbed by the ankles and sucked under the monstrosity into the darkness*

*Both charge at the corpse as the others lay frozen in fear. The first swing hits.*

Hey! This is pretty fun!

*They continue to beat the animatronic, before William lets go of Cassidy and gets behind the old corpse, restraining it as she continues to wail on it*

That's it! Get him! Show him how much you've grown! Show him what he's done!

*A tear rolls down one of Williams cheeks*

Show him the same thing you went through!

*Finally the old metal snaps from the rust and strain, leaving the computer systems behind the monster unprotected as it's head rolls*

Everyone grab something, this is gonna be fun!

*Cassidy is placed in front of Will, he sets her hand on the wrench and covers it with his.*

Alright, we're going to take a few practice swings, then we'll bash this creeps skull in, alright?

*Cassidy giggles at the insult*

Alright.

*They begin to move the wrench around to test mobility and speed.*

Alright, let's go!

*William gives her one last hug*

Let's kill the man I was, together.

What did you see?

*Cassidy claws at Williams shirt and he holds her into a hug.*

I-it was the back room, a-and you- you were-

I know, I know. Guess I'm going to have to do this the old fashioned way...

*He reaches into his bag*

Cassidy, do the thing.

No-! I need to take him, so that I can stop-

*William sighs, before pulling out a large wrench*

Then we'll do it together.

*Cassidy is set down and she slides into the depths, everyone else soon follows.*

*When they get to the ground, William turns around surprised at what is underneath the wood. A large conglomeration of parts and masks entangled together stares back at him*

We should probably go before that thing wakes up...

*The room get hotter as the enter into a hallway, Vanessa stands outside a closed door hesitant*

He's in here.

*As they all enter, William turns to see his own corpse mangled in his old suit. His hand immediately grabs Cassidys shoulder*

You've got this.

*She nods and he catches her as she goes limp, the corpse twitches and thrashes, before going silent and still.*

Well...that was easy.

*A loud shriek comes from Cassidy*

Nevermind

*William swings open the door, a bell chimes as he does*

It's really bright in here...

*Both of them are made painfully aware of the black trails on the floor leading to the ball pit*

Is that blood?!

No, just oil.

*Vanessa hops into the caved in floor*

He'll be down here.

*William fidgets with the bag momentarily, feeling for something before continuing on down*
