Kanato’s character analysis (based on the game)

Hey guys, I need your help. A few months ago I started writing an analysis of Kanato’s character based on the very first game. I thought people would be interested in that, and since some of you already messaged me saying that you would be curious to hear more about why I find his character so interesting. I also haven’t found anyone who’s done an analysis solely on the game. I think that’s a shame, since I’ve noticed that the anime contradicts quite a lot of things (that happened in the game). And I’ve noticed that not only how Kanato’s character was written, but also some key points are different. I haven’t watched the 2nd season, but I’ve heard that Azusa burns Kanato’s Teddy, while in the game Kanato burns Teddy himself (which if you know how much Teddy means to him, the reason behind that I find quite interesting). 

But since I was too busy to finish the analysis for Halloween, as I’ve intended from the start, now I’m wondering if I should even continue it. I have started replaying the game to make my analysis as detailed as possible, with dialogue examples and such, but I don’t want to spend my time playing the game and writing the analysis if no one is really interested in it (especially since my habit of digging deep and taking apart every, seemingly little, detail made this project  unexpectedly time-consuming). So if you are interested, please like/reblog this post, and if we get a 250 notes, I’ll continue writing the analysis.

Also the fact that I couldn’t finish it in time for Halloween made me feel sad and disappointed, so I drew another doodle of Kanato.

“Eve.” Yui heard a familiar voice call out to her.

The blonde turned around, jumping slightly at the Mukami’s sudden appearance.

Azusa walked slowly towards her and wrapped his arms loosely around her small waist.

“A-Azusa. What are you doing?”

The vampire in question just stayed silent, not letting go of his Eve.

Azusa had been with Yui the entire day. At the very least, he’d stay in the same room as her. He never wanted her to leave. To leave him.

As Yui got into bed, Azusa followed. His pale, bandaged arms wrapped around her waist, just as they had almost the entire day.
