What you really deserve after so long, and after your many...attempts to help me, is thanks. I'm not perfect, I know that. I never will be. I told you once that I knew who I was. I lied; I didn't know. I still don't know for sure. What I do know, thanks to you, is that perhaps not everyone believes I'll never change.

Your door has always been open to me. I apologize for walking away the number of times I did.

Hello Cricket Dr. Hopper,

I know that our past hasn't always been so... cordial... sorry about the torture, mate, but I really needed to learn as much as I could in order to get revenge on the Crocodile. But, perhaps this gift might make it easier so that the next time that someone kidnaps you, you are able to escape. Remember, it was Cora who bound and gagged you, not me.

OoC: After the Winter semi-finale

Hello followers,

Just a note from the Mun and Muse to let you all know how this blog will be conducting itself from now until March. After some careful reflection I've decided to continue to play Archie Hopper/Jiminy Cricket just before the curse is undone and Storybrooke disappears in an effort to remain as canon as possible since it isn't clear at this point whether he will remain a man when they are all carried back to Fairytale land, or become a cricket again. Thanks for following us, for all your messages and asks. We couldn't do it without you, here's to another year.

How would you describe your "princess charming"?

You mean Emma? Well, I suppose she is the savior that was foretold would save us from the curse, though she seems even now to still be adjusting to that role. But she’s also very strong, and determined, and I think she can be a wonderfully loyal and good friend, when she lets someone in.

Do you miss your life as a cricket?

Hmm… well I suppose there are certain aspects of being a cricket that became familiar to me after so long. I still sometimes miss flying, but in general I’m not dissatisfied with being a man. Being a cricket served it’s purpose and got me through a difficult time, but having a second chance to be a man again isn’t so bad either.

What are your working hours? How many patients do you normally see per day?

Well Anon, it really depends upon the day. I try the best that I can to cater to all of my patient's schedules as much as I can, but generally I start my office hours around 9am after a cup of coffee, and maybe some breakfast at Granny's, and close up shop around 6 or 7pm, unless there's a patient that needs a later appointment, or I need to catch up on paperwork.

If you had your memories back, what would you have thought at Regina wanting to adopt a child?

Well Anon, I suppose that it would be dishonest to say I wouldn't have had my concerns about it. But I still believe in what I then, that there is a lot more to life than throwing oneself into work, or worrying and fearing about the future. There is nothing quite like the unconditional love of a child, and who doesn't want to be loved?
