What's it like being Germany?

“I was in a foreign country which I didn’t speak the language of and had never been at. I was also scared. It was the fear of the unknown, I didn’t know what to expect.” Germany would chuckle a bit as she thought of the memories, the chuckle wasn’t very happy. “I was such a dumbass back then- and still am- but now I’m here. A science project and a reborn personification of Germany. Funny, isn’t it? At least this time I have a place I can call home and feel secure in. 

Anyways! Back to the question. Being Germany is actually quite interesting. First things first are that I can't die. That means that I can and do A LOT of extreme things. The government workers who look after me and my boss are quite mad each time, they are all like: ´OMG Berit! You (could have) died! It's dangerous! Stop doing those things.´ I can kinda see their point but naaah, I won't stop. I’m having so much fun. Expect the time I jumped out of the 2nd window because Austria broke in again and scared my ass off. I had to pay for the window >:c

Being Germany is also a lot of work. Ya know, being the personification and all that means that you need to work for the government and do whatcha boss says. It can be especially hard when you don’t speak the language fluently. I once wanted to say to one of the works that they look beautiful but forgot how beautiful is in German and called them accidentally a cow. 

And because I look 14, I need to go to school too. I was homeschooled for quite a while but now I need to go to a public school to be social or something and learn about Germany. I didn’t listen to my boss when they talked about it. I was busy drawing anime characters.”mentioned: @ask-my-austria
