*Dream had gone to Dreamtale alone with no weapons and a single bottle of wine—her positive aura being highly diluted with depression and Nightmare sensed the odd feeling and went to investigate*

Nightmare: *Walked up behind her and took the bottle* Dream, what the hell?

Nightmare: *Pours the remaining alcohol in the bottle out onto the ground* You KNOW it’s bad to drink to relieve- (sadness)

*The air in the small forest clearing goes deathly silent as Nightmare saw fresh wounds on her sisters arm, which she grabbed Dreams wrist so she couldn’t hide them and brought them into full view*

Nightmare: …Someones hurting you?

Dream: *She stiffens, beginning to wipe her tears with her free hand as she muttered out an obvious lie* …N-No Mare I-I’m fine…

Nightmare: *She starts suppressing the anger she feels, recognizing Dream is scared and not wanting to make it worse with the exposed anger* …Someone has been hurting you… *She muttered as a confirmation*

*End Scene*

- There’s No DreamMare, just Nightmare being a very protective older sister due to Dreams past with Ink

- There is mentions of domestic abuse, drinking, self harm, and considered unaliving

- Grisaille and Palette are twins here, both around the late toddler maturity so they are semi-literate
