I was supposed to type something witty but I lost my train of thought at some point. It had something to do with pockets on dresses somewhere.

Since I have no fashion sense, I apologize if this isn't really cute? Although I guess it's kind of a good thing since Sock has an odd fashion sense too but idk.

Anywho, I had fun with this!! Haven't colored something that didn't have a solid lineart in a while and I tried to draw Sock in his supposed body type whatnot which was p challenging but it was cool. Ye.

The notebook has something special inside, yet I still do not remember…

It’s a small notebook, I can tell you that. It has this leather cover on it, but it’s pretty worn out. Guess it’s been through a lot. I have no idea to where it’s been. I've only found it now. Maybe I have in the past, but I don’t remember… Darn memory problems.

As I opened it, I see pages crammed with not so many spaces anywhere. Every letter, every word is nearly stuck to another. The handwriting is pretty small, but it’s understandable enough for my eyes... Until I lose where I am. The handwriting is so small it’s easy to get lost as you read…

Apparently, this notebook seems to be mine. Can’t really say if that’s true or not. Owning a notebook small enough to fit my pocket doesn’t ring a bell. But who else would have owned it? No one has entered your ‘room’ so far as you remember…

The notebook has some information about me along with information of other people. Still, it doesn't seem to have any sign of my own name. I think... I think I can’t find out since I haven’t told anyone in a sense of some sort. I know the thought is dumb, but it’s... Kind of possible that no one knows my name. Other than my parents, of course…

Reading the notebook, a name has been written down one page, over and over. Nagging me to remember who it is. The name’s Christopher Writzmann or Chris in general. It… It’s really annoying. Trying to remember something that seems to be important.

Anyway, he seems to be a source of information about myself. Guess we were friends. Maybe best friends since he knows a lot about me... Though in a respected and not creepy way of course!

Then there are these creatures called ‘monsters’. From what I can see, these creatures can’t be seen by everyone. I could, though I don’t know where my monster is... They are meant to be mean, horrible beings that look for hosts, which are humans... Can’t really say that I’m completely human now though, so maybe that’s why my monster isn’t here or I just can’t see it anymore...

Moving on. They seem to take our misery and use it as some kind of food for themselves. If a monster takes enough of the misery, though, they can overpower its host, possessing them. It can open a portal to the Monster World, letting other monsters roam freely to the world we live in, most likely to cause harm to people here.

In the notebook, it says that it’s happened once, though no monster escaped the portal... It didn't have a good ending to it, though... Wonder what happened..?

Not all monsters are bad though. Some are the opposite of that. They kinda pity their hosts and take care of them in a way. They don’t really take the misery of their hosts as much either.  It makes me... Happy.

I mean... The last time the portal to the Monster World was opened, it was horrible as said in the notebook. Who knows what will happen if a monster found a way to open another portal and the monsters did go through it this time?

I’ll just be glad if I’m not here to face that, even if I’m not really human, at the moment and onward  I’ll... I’ll wait until I meet Death himself, if that’s possible. -- Take THIS anon. Take it.
