Gen got a glow up (this blog was started SEVEN years ago)

Now that I've grown more conscious of how I design characters, a lot of the doubles I've shown kinda sorta super need some tweaking because of it. You've seen it with Gen here but i feel that design was bit too rough for someone like Gen. It's mostly his head that I redesign as his clothes stay the same.

Getting back here with an actual post, here's 32, 33, and 34

a set of doubles all spawned into existence at relatively the same time, these three feel the most detached from who they represent.

Ophidio (doubling Cobs) represents fear, and is such a nervous wreck half the time that its a miracle he managed create and parent a whole computer. He's afraid of nearly everything besides snakes, music, and his family. He can play the drums.

Romance (doubling Suitcase) represents resentment, and would greatly prefer (toning that down) you call her 33 unless you're Ophidio or Rookie. She can belt her voice out well but she doesn't top Singer's. She thinks conventional romance is weird.

Rookie (doubling MePhone 7) represents optimism. They don't have too many hobbies besides wanting to be the best they can be and finding the best in others. They like playing bass and harmonizing well with the other two.

This trio's job isn't conventional, as they mainly become the diagetic music and singers for the rest of doubles in order to speed up a time loop. It also serves as a recording of each double's loop, as variations may come about and reference is needed.

They do need a lead guitarist though, especially since there's this weird gap between doubles 30 and 32...

Pretty sure she's Clover's double, Gambler I think? I hadn't seen season three by then (still haven't) so I don't really know her deal? She was a quick MS paint doodle to get her design down.

this fxxker has gone through the most redesigns it almost infuriates me. his first design was SO BAD. I'll probably round up a few pictures of before and afters once I get my hands on them, safe for a few. I made a lot of VERY poor design choices making them initially, especially regarding variety. most are on a fanmade Amino, so if you dig deep enough, you'll probably find them. I was like 12.

Anyways, this is Assist, number 18 and part of the Fighting division. He is MePad's double and represents loyalty. He's often paired up with Apocalypse, though they tend to butt heads on account of their personalities. He's extremely strict but his loyalty meshes with his exhaustion towards Rivalry poorly, as he often goes along with his plans. He is very vulnerable to water but reboots quickly.

It's been a while since I've used MS Paint and that's where it all started. Inanimate Insanity kept me going for 5+ years, though my love has waned, it holds a special place in my heart. I just happened upon it through THE INTERNET and this niche series captured me. I'm sure I've made some very bad art that will never see the light of day but I'm glad I made it. I might come back to it but Hetalia and NSR caught me by the throat. Maybe in like 2 months.

Happy 10th anniversary Inanimate Insanity. I love this series to death.

(Hi! Sorry for the radio silence for the past few months; No Straight Roads dethroned my II obsession. I still want to do asks and stuff but the love for II has kinda settled for me. I've been more active on my art blog @blackicek1lls but it's been a long while since I've drawn II stuff. I still have the designs for the other half of the characters and maybe I'll get to posting them later.

Anyways, sorry for being so quiet and I hope I can get myself to start posting more!)
