Goodbye, Aspecs 👋

Okay, I've put off making this post long enough. (Uhhh, from sheer laziness, not because I didn't want to make it. XD) I said before June began that this would be the last round of Aspec Pride Calendar due to me largely moving away from using Tumblr, and this is still true. There have been ups and owns, but it's been a really cool experience running this blog! I'm so, so glad I got to make people feel seen during Pride Month and help people find terms that fit them. It's been really awesome watching that happen. While we're done for now, I won't dismiss the possiblity of coming back to it someday (though I won't guarantee it either!). In the meantime, if someone wanted to do something similar, I definitely would support it! So, goodbye, for now, aspecs. I love all of you (unless you prefer I don't). <3

Pauciace (pronounced pow-chi-ace) - An acespec individual who is alright with some sex traits being and not others. This may just be their own body or may involve being uncomfortable or unattracted to those traits on their partner(s) as well.

Related terms: bottoace (no sexual contact related to the buttocks), geniace (no sexual contact related to the genitals), breace (no sexual contact related to the breasts)

Telesexual - A term for those whose sexual attraction and/or experiences are strongly affected by fiction. This can be fiction of any medium. Telesexual experiences include but aren't limited to: only feeling arousal while reading/watching fiction, being sex-repulsed by sexual situations in person but excited by them in fiction, experiencing maladaptive or immersive daydreaming that effects one's sexuality, and generally feeling like fiction affects how one feels about sex.
