you want people to care so much about you but nobody cares unless you do first. to be so selfish of wanting people to ask if you’re okay is stupid because everyone just cares about themselves only.

and the truth is nobody we realize the sadness that you keep away from everyone. why does it become so surprising when someone who is “happy” starts to tell you how they really feel? maybe that’s why they don’t tell you anything? maybe because you make them feel like they can’t trust one? when does it become too late?

The boy kept on moving

Pretending to be unaffected.

Until he realized

The water falling on his hands

Isn't the rain anymore.

The cracking of something

Isn't a dead leaf no more.

And the girl he is leaving behind

Won't be his anymore.

Breathing heavily

Suppressing his sobs.

He kept on walking.

Running away

And mumbling to himself.
