idk why i keep seeing ppl hate on tpot 18 :( it was so silly

i figured it out!! i tweaked with the book on Reedsy and made it look good while still using their templates! im gonna do a final grammar check, and then i’ll get the paperback out! in the meantime, here’s a sneak peek of what the book would look like!

fellow indie authors does anyone know how to put gutter/mirror margins and alternating headers on a document? google docs and apple pages dont have those options, i don’t have word, and the Reedsy export templates are nice but i wish i could go in and edit stuff there before exporting

so im an actual idiot and thought “printing costs” on KDP meant u had to go in and pay every time someone buys ur book, but KDP just takes this money from ur royalties😭

chat i have literally an EPIC idea for a warriors story arc

so like what if there was a medicine cat villain?? this cat could either start out as a medicine cat or train to become one due to the high-level of respect and authority the role has. The arc could start out with an “outbreak of sickness,” killing a large number of cats

(perhaps even contributing to fixing the “thunderclan is way too big” problem lol, although it would probably have to kill off more popular characters to be most impactful, and killing a large number of important characters with very little time in-between is kinda iffy as we don’t have time to linger on their deaths)

But the deaths would ACTUALLY be caused by the evil medicine cat using their knowledge of herbs to poison the fresh-kill piles of the Clans. This cat could’ve abused their connection to StarClan and essentially have made-up fake prophecies/omens of large-scale death in the clans—which would come true due to the poison. This would lead to the medicine cat being of high-respect for being right, accomplishing their goal of gaining power and superiority while also erupting chaos throughout that clans that could potentially lead to the clans’ end.
