I started this embroidery back in 2016 and got a good bit of it done but eventually got distracted by another project and it got set aside.

I decided to finally finish it this weekend and I’m quite pleased with how it turned out!! I forgot how much I enjoyed stabbing something repeatedly.

That feeling when

You realize the satin stitch was such a pain in the ass because you were doing it wrong. I dunno, maybe it's because of cross stitching, but coming back up on the opposite side of where you come down feels so counterintuitive. Super glad to be on the right track now though.
