You ever look at the rest of tumblr and go "they dont know about how tommyinnit (who at the time said he was straight) tricked his friend (who is a gay man) into marrying him and when his friend/husband found out (months later when he was joking about having a Vegas wedding with another friend and then Realised) he tried to get a divorce but tommy said no even though he has had a girlfriend the entire time and that then he wrote wattpad rpf fanfic about him and his friend/husband kissing (specifically with tongue) and his girlfriend dying and all the wrongs of the world being fixed. Not only that but he subsequently recorded an I'm just Ken parody about this marriage and most recently while Tommy was on a trip around America, back in England, his friend/husband started streaming more with Tommy's girlfriend and bought her a new iphone so he joked that he was being cucked. And now he's just come out as bicurious after his friend/husband tried to get him to say the f-slur on stream and his response was that he could only say a 1/5th of it before calling his husband a " 'ggott"." And this is all (probably) real. This is a real thing that happened.

So I’m rewatching supernatural and the way Dean just shuts down around his dad will never fail to fuck me up.

Dean is the kinda guy who you’d assume has the fight drama response. He’s loud, impulsive, cocky, and brash. He is not any of those things around John. His trauma response is fawn. I know because it’s mine too. Conforming to what someone wants to keep them happy.

You bend yourself any way they ask until you break. Sometimes you’re never able to find your way back to your original shape. Sometimes you’ve been doing since such a young age that there wasn’t time for you to be your own shape before you were moulded.

Dean Winchester was parentified in a way that is usually seen most in eldest daughters. Which is why he resonates with me so much.

Red from OSP says this much more elegantly that I can, but in order to satirize something, you need to understand it. Otherwise you are just making fun. It is a loving jab at the core parts of Batman while also understanding his character enough to portray him very well.

Lego Batman is simultaneously one of the most accurate adaptations of the character and also one of the best satirizations of DC comics to DATE.

And for your information, when I say that c!Centross is Batman shaped, I am specifically talking about Lego Batman. That is a vital part of my argument.
