epiphany that with demise on hermitcraft its such an allegory for how life loses its meaning when youve lost the first one- i mean thats minecraft overall yes but in hermitcraft, theoretically if you were someone who could live again and again. that first life as demise sets it is so valuable. of course there is some sort of reward to this but once a hermit dies all their life means is essentially revenge until they take another’s first life. and then they are at ease. they can die over and over again once they’ve lost their first life and aside from levels it does not matter.

just thought of how people take pictures of the sun at the same time all around the world, all of the time, and yet no angle will ever be the same. the sun may set on a day here but across the world it rises. it is the same sun. every second you watch it is another matched second by a stranger youll never meet

i think it was with my grandparents who my brother and i made those hand prints into clay. i was 5 or so and my brother 7. they hang on the entrance to my mother’s kitchen and every time i find myself looking at them i cant help but put my hand up in comparison to mine and even my brothers. because mine is much too small now and my brothers i can finally reach from the height it was hung.
