I had a lot of fun answering all of them, you guys are the coolest. I hope I’ll be able to do this again (probably for the AU’s anniversary). Like I said, I never done this sort of stuff before, let alone running this blog all by myself. It’s been a real learning experience, but a fun one thanks to all of you!

Behold! The many different interpretations of Frisk’s character according to the AU they live in!

I initially wanted to release these for Undertale’s one year anniversary, but that never happened because I had too many things to do at the time. I was going to add more, but I ran out of time and steam for this, so I looked through my old pictures and decided that I’m just going to post this online in case anyone is interested.

There’s an “if” in life but not in our memories

Hey guys? Can monsters die of a broken heart? Is it possible for monsters to die of sadness? Emotions can either increase or decrease the production of important hormones such as adrenaline. Adrenaline has the effect of narrowing the main arteries, putting a person in a situation where they may die of heart failure. Humans can die of sadness and a broken heart. I just wanted to know about the monsters can die of sadness and a broken heart.

Yo! Sorry I didn’t get to this fascinating question right away /dusts off corner of the inbox/ there we should be ready to roll now! 

I think I totally agree with the idea of monsters being able to feel that intense level of emotion that humans do. For example, when say the protagonist felt their determination rise and fall throughout their journey (ex. feeling fear, being pursued), that might have affected their soul. haha excuse my sketches 

Even in the comic series of my AU, the protagonist’s soul was depicted as physically shattering after the trauma of falling from a great height in the Underground (and in turn, rendering them from being able to speak). 

Regarding monsters again, they can also feel the same heightened emotions that can be similar to even human characteristics (ex. bravery, kindness) just by expressing them as given traits (I really hope that made sense). You don’t have to necessarily “be human” to feel emotions such as sadness or grief in general. 

In this AU especially, you’re going to see that in a lot of the characters who have to experience things like that. You can chalk that up to them being affected by the characteristic of their own soul, or just physical willpower to punch life in the face (cough Undyne). 

SO, yes, monsters can die in theory of sadness and/or broken heart with the concept of their souls being connected to their metal/physical being. I hope this answers your question, it was very interesting!
