A small fun fact about my yansim au, EVERY Aishi is not evil. They are born with no to very little emotions, it just so happens that the curse was taught to only harm people. A family tradition no one can fully break, no matter how hard they try. Ayano is the “second” start of %100 of the curse.

Also Kataba and Torahiko do love each other. They are not the most healthy (how can you be when your wife is a Yandere and you survived ww2?), but they do care for one another in a true way (another fun fact, Kataba may or may not have her actual “senpai”…).

As for the other Aishi members (that we know about at least. And Ayato does not exist.):

Ayano is obsessed with Taro. Taro thinks of Ayano as an acquaintance.

Yamara sees her “senpai” as living medicine. Her “senpai” doesn’t know.

Ryoba is obsessed with Jokichi. Jokichi loves his daughter but fears his wife.

Ryoba’s sister is obsessed with her “senpai”. Her senpai is dead. Ryoba's sister is missing.

Dozuki sees Sureibu as living medicine. Sureibu no longer can think for himself.

Kataba is obsessed and in love with Torahiko. Torahiko loves and fears his wife, and is feels regret for Dozuki.

Azebiki’s brother is a mystery.

Azebiki sees her “senpai” as living medicine but also human. Her senpai is tolerates her sickness. Azebiki despises her granddaughter and feels pity for Kataba.

Kugi is obsessed with her “senpai”. He fears his wife but loves both his children.

Hiki is dead. Yet Kugi always sees her in the corner of her eye.

The first Aishi is under the tree. Along with the Basu sisters mother.

A not so fun fact about Osana’s matchmaking in my au!

Remember, this is my au and Osana’s new name is Satomi!

Satomi is (currently) the only rival I have planned to have two matchmake characters! The first is Raibaru and the second is Yaku. You may ask, why does she have two suitors? Easy! You can choose to either put Satomi in a toxic relationship or a toxic relationship! Raibaru’s friendship is not healthy (as of now), so putting them in a relationship would be…interesting (especially with her rival specific elimination-). Idk if I would imply that Satomi works on herself and they actually have a good relationship or not tho.

The second suitor being Yaku Zaishi! They would have a toxic relationship of giving into each other. Before I thought to use Gema as her second suitor, but that felt too on the nose. Yaku and Satomi both give into each other’s toxic parts. Yaku feeding Satomi’s pride and jealousy, Satomi feeding Yaku’s obsession with live test rats and such (hes actually insane fr).

Either way! Satomi does NOT get a happy ending when it comes to matchmaking (at first at least bc Raibaru’s path may imply a healthy relationship)!

I wanted to really show how toxic Satomi is. In the game, Osana is…interesting. Shes not just a tsundere, but a lot more toxic. I just made it 10x worst! (I wasn’t lying about the “gema 2.0” part)

So yeah, Ayano getting rid of Satomi is kinda a blessing for Taro (his new name is still undecided…whoops…)

Favorite Senpai: Torahiko! Especially in my AU of him.

Favorite rival (202x): Osoro and Oka

Favorite club: aesthetic wise, it’s the occult or art club. But in usefulness, martial arts.

Here’s the current timeline for the Aishi family for my AU! Much didn’t change except Ayano’s.

It now takes place in 2020, no more no less. Also Yamara’s birthday (Ayano’s cousin) is 1999. And Azebiki has a brother now instead of a sister. Ryoba is also the younger sister now:D and K+H stands for “Kugi + Hiki”! Any questions, I’ll be glad to answer^0^

What hairstyle should Kizana have? She probably will have multiple like in canon (?) but for her main art idk what to choose.

These are some of the hair styles from yandev’s artists or fan made (full credits to them! I may hate yandev and the people that support him, but I’m also an artist and refuse to not give credits.)

As for who I would pair Ayano with in both my au and the original game:

I honestly hate teacher Mida, but there will probably be creepy teachers or students as characters for the sake of that it is sadly common. It will not be romanticized at all, but I do want to keep the depressing story of Yandere Simulator. Stuff like this is sadly common, and I want to there to be multiple paths Ayano can be. You could save Kokona and her money issue, or maybe you blackmail her with it. Either way, I want to show that Ayano is not someone good. I see many Ayano’s strip her of the insanity she has (which isnt an issue btw, I just see it often). I don’t want to do that.

But also… Ayano is a complex character. The whole Aishi family believes you have to get your beloved to be happy. Ayano is a product of her mother not teaching her any other options, but that doesn’t excuse her actions. I refuse to make a character like her so 2D or make her “normal”. The whole point is that she isn’t normal, she isn’t a good person but also that doesn’t mean she’s pure evil. I want to use the butterfly effect on her, how the players choices also changes the game.

All members of the Aishi family do NOT know how the cursed formed.

The first Aishi had a daughter before she got trapped, so that’s how it continued btw.

The story for you:

“Long ago, a woman started the blood of the Aishi family. Being a hunter that killed any monster that tried to harm her village..but one day, she had made a grave mistake. killing the husband of the demoness of love, who mourned her husband every day and night. As punishment for the women’s crimes, the demoness took her and her future generations emotions away. Only one person will ever make them feel love, yet the person will never return the love. The women, scared for her future generations, entrapped the demoness underneath a wisteria tree, stabbing the demons heart with a dagger that had her own blood on it as well. “Until you break this curse, you shall stay here for eternity!” The hunter cried out. A pact never to be undone until the curse is gone.”

“But now legends have come from the past, claiming if you confess your love along with giving them a mizuhiki tie, the other person shall always accept if it is true love.”

If you don’t wanna read it, long story short, the first Aishi was a demon/monster hunter, killed the husband of a love demoness. The demoness cursed the Aishi bloodline, the first Aishi trapped herself and the demoness underneath the wisteria tree (replacement for the cherry tree:P)

Also, I choose the mizuhiki tie bc I saw it sometimes represented love and stuff. So yeah.

OKAY THERE. Story is explained! Time for Ayano + the rivals new names! Cuz let’s be sooo fr, the names are only okay. Also, I won’t change the names for any of the other characters, only rivals. Bc I don’t have the heart to get rid of Midori.

Well, Ayano has a new color also! Ik she was normally represented by pink, red, and black. But now, she has a green color, as you see in the picture of her. I knew how red and pink were colors of love and shit, but I chose green for a reason. Poison and plants. She’s meant to look harmless, yet if you get too close…you already know what happens! I wanted to use plants to represent her and the Aishi family in whole because of 1980’s custom mode.

Pansexual (this is actually canon in game! We hate Yandere dev, but it is canon that the Aishi’s cant have same sex lovers! ^0^)

Unlike that one post about Ayano killing her pet if her love (new word for senpai) was allergic, she would either give it to a family member, friend, or shelter.

Ayano doesn’t go out of her way to harm things such as animals, or things that cannot control such things as allergies. To her, the rivals know what they are doing, and sees them as a threat.

She doesn’t go straight to murder! If the player chooses to murder the rival, she will have small inner thoughts will show her being worried and how this is the only way to keep her love safe.

Friends will Kokona, Saki, and Midori. She is acquaintances with Kumi Demura (Kuudere’s real name) and Horuda.

Works part time in multiple jobs!

Was a theater kid in middle school where she met Kokona, only took the classes so she could improve on acting around others.

She knows how to play the piano, but only the basics.

Is in contact with her great grandmother (Kataba) and great great grandmother(?) (Azebiki)

Osana Najimi! New name: Satomi Hayashi

Week one rival.

There’s a lot to note about the changes she has gotten. But a main one is that she is heavily a female Gema, just a bit nicer. A gamer girl who loves cats and is obsessed with male attention. This time, by Ayano’s love. Her love and Satomi met in middle school, yet didn’t become friends until high school. And raibaru plays a HUGE part in her rival specific elimination.

My Ayano Aishi redesign!

This is the artwork of Ayano from my AU called “Lovesick”, she is much more fleshed out hopefully, but I’m still trying to get the details of all the characters.
