It was a very complicated for me. This whole two years. I had to rethink my whole identity as a Jew. Even before the events which unraveling today I was standing against the occupation and apartheid, yet until the events that started on the 7th of October, I never learned in such a depth about Nakba and all of the other horrible massacres that scared the Palestinian people. All the atrocities carried out by Israeli apartheid state, funded in its original form by European antisemitic elites, funded by nazi war criminals, for those who would soon follow in their steps. Those the association with whom it is painful and embarrassing for me to acknowledge. Was who weaponized the pain of holocaust, in their propaganda machine to pillage and destroy in the name of the all devouring capital.

In Tanakh shedim are the malevolent demons representing of the invading foreign forces. Israel is shedim. Israel is a hungry demon. I say it as a Jew. My words might not be well put together. They might not have much impact, or change anything in this cruel world. But I think it is better than being silent, here. In the only place where I have any semblance of a public presence. This illustration is the depiction of evil. Evil which couldn’t create. Evil that could only destroy. The depiction of shedim. Of Israeli colonial occupation.

After a while of being submerged in my studies, I finally managed to draw something just for myself

A little assignment from my classes.

I just remembered that I haven't posted much. Mostly because of my classes. There is barely time to draw for any kind of a personal project.

Before I started studying art I heard a lot about how people stoped loving to draw after going to any kind of art-school.

For me it is different. I still love drawing, yet I really want to have more possibilities to draw just for myself again.

Shinl’un are an interstellar species of mollusks, with an unknown planet of origin. They are capable of communicating through both telepathy and color changes in the luminescent faceted eyes. They are also known for being capable of using other species as the holders for their eggs, as long as their body temperature is sufficient. Often solitary Shinl’un offer members of other species a trade offer in which they ageee to carry their brood in exchange for the material goods. As the newborn Shinl’uns are basically sentient from birth, and capable of caring for themselves, surrogate parent are free from caring about them after they were born.

Yuko-yuko are a primitive civilisation of humanoid reptilians from the jungles of the planet Michou. The color of their skin had evolved to mimic rose coloring of the Michoan vegetation. They live in a small Forrest communities, usually using tools made of flint, and wood. While possessing a language they however unfamiliar with fire, and lack any kind of social organisation more complicated than a familial tribe.

Transparent Mosts, are the ghastly creatures of the underground caverns of the planetoid Mingvar. They are notable as a species not only due to the fact that their skin is completely transparent allowing to see their internal organs but also for the fact that they lack any kind of skeletal or muscular structure. Relying solely on hydraulics of the liquids inside their limbs to move. Apparently they used to have bones in the early stages of their evolution, yet they slowly disappeared possibly due to the need for fitting themselves in a narrow crevices of the underground environment. However them lacking any internal structures similar to a skeleton isn’t true. Their organs are held in place by a fibre known as a Calceoform capable of keeping their organs in place, as well as changing its firmness based on the needs of the Most.

Mielians are two related species of the planet Miel known as xic’tzo (The wild talkers) and Üzzur’tzo (city talkers). As it comes from the name both species are capable of speaking, and constructive thoughts, yet only Üzzur had created any kind of civilisation, compared to Xic which apparently just never wanted to live their brethren’s civilised life. In fact Xic, due to their animalistic appearance have intellectual capability equal to their urban relatives, yet they adhere to a certain philosophy in which they see themselves as not fit for a “civilised” living, due to certain natural order. In the common Tzo worldview, Xic, are allowed of much more things than Üzzur. For example they are allowed to kill both Üzzur and other Xic. That however isn’t a very common occurrence. Usually Xic live on the edges of the civilised world very rarely interacting with Üzzur, that are trying to treat Xic with respect, often bringing them ritualised offerings, so Xic won’t slaughter their cattle or ravage the fields.

Arfils are the tall humanoids of the desert planet arfil. Which are believed to derive from humans many millennia ago. They posses skin flaps all throughout their bodies which they use to cool themselves on especially hot days. Long ago their planet was an ocean world teeming with life, however due to certain cataclysm, their world’s oceans were gone. In all the historical records they posses, however there is strangely no mentions of this cataclysm. That contrasts with the evidence that in the relatively recent past their planet indeed was an ocean world, with the remains of marine life, and withered coral forests being scattered all throughout it…

TROICH - are a race descendant from the earthling colonists of the frozen planet Troig. Due to the high gravity of their world they have a relatively low height, and a muscular build. Their ribs, with the passage of the millennia morphed in a single rib plate, which works as an internal shell protecting the majority of the vital organs. This bone is so hard, a troich might withstand being shot in the chest from a primitive firearm.

BERENDELIANS — they are an aquatic race that lives on the archipelagos of the oceanic world of Berendagon. While clumsy and slow on earth, they are extremely swift and agile in the aquatic environment. With their brains capable of simultaneously controlling six arms, as well as concentrating attention on three things at a time, they are considered some of the best pilots in the galaxy.

YEWOTHS - possibly related to earthlings, this race originates from the mountain-swamps of Gyo-Gunnar. Their language is quite peculiar as they incorporate the movements of the fins on their heads and backs. Their mating rituals, are also quite peculiar. Specifically the fact that they have two pairs of genitalia. They procreate in the holly mountain lakes, to which they go on a sacred mating pilgrimages. After females give birth to about ten eggs, they leave, and for the next year, males stay at the lakes to protect those eggs. With a passage of history cities were built around the lakes to accommodate mating-pilgrims on their stay.

GLASOBOOTS are gigantic creatures from the planet Orta-Regalia. They are known for a particular cubic shape of their bodies, and extremely long lives. Average life span of a single glassoboot can range from 500 to 3000 years. Glasoboots live in a small family tribes that slovely travel around their world, rarely meeting to trade, mate, and share stories of their travels…

Ochrian - Originating in the savannahs and badlands of the planet Ochria-Prime, this Humanoid species have distributed far outside the reaches of its home system. However while living among the stars, ochrians tend to preserve their traditional tribal culture. Life of an individual in it is closely tied to their clan and a larger tribal structure, inside of which weddings, and so-called blood exchanges are happening. Three times a year, all the clans that consist a tribe are gathering for the festival of blood exchange, during which males are compete in wrestling hitting each others heads together, and the clan leaders, choose which of them will come to live with their clan for next several months, to help women and elders with hunting and farming and to procreate, if the new children are needed to be born. However on some planets with the smaller Ochrian populations, the members of this sprcies are usually tend to copying more permanent family structures of the cultural majority.

Raksolisk - those monstrous creatures were believed to be created as a sort of a biological weapon through interbreeding between humans and amphibian animals of the planet Yagneda. Even though raksolisks are possessive of animalistic characteristics raksolisks are self aware and even capable of complicated speech. What seems to be to pairs of eyes on their heads are in fact glands containing powerful and highly acidic neurotoxin, which they can exhale from their mouths, which leads to a corroded, and damaged look of their teeth. Raksolisks also possess incredible ability for regeneration, being capable of regrowing lost limbs, certain organs, and even parts of their brains. They however are incapable of procreation lacking any kind of genitals, and as for today there are only ten thousands raksolisks left in the galaxy. Most of them have found employment as a mercenaries and bounty hunters, or followed the lives of hermitage, in some of the darkest corners of their home planet.

Ëtou - are the semi-colonial organisms from the warm oceans of the planet Hoimaa. The term semi-colonial signifies that they are capable of existence both as individual beings, and as conglomeration of multiple organisms, that while connected through special organs act as one. The second form called Ëtouli can reach up to a kilometre in diameter, and three kilometres in length. It is also the form in which Ëtou are known to be capable of procreation, usually giving birth to about fifty millions eggs at a time. From this amount only about a thousand will survive with the rest being eaten by predators. Newborns tend to migrate for thousand miles, feeding and growing, to eventually join each other In equatorial waters and create new Ëtouli’s, that will travel to the temperate areas of the planet, to lay eggs, and start the cycle again.

Emool’ - there is not much known about emool’s. The only thing that is certain is that they tend to live in the cave-lakes of the planet Garuda-4. It isn’t known for sure if they possess any kind of culture, or if they are just a mere animals. They are believed to possess a primitive speech consisted of high pitched Cheerps and Clicks. Colonists that work in the mines of Garuda-4 believe that hearing the voices of this creatures is a bad sign. And that seeing one out of the water, or even worse, being noticed by one of them, is an omen of a mass death, due to an underground water stream, or a gas explosion, making a cave collapse on the heads of unsuspecting miners.

Blook - Inhabitants of the small farming communities of the planet Yeda, they are known for the folds on their bodies , which when ambushed by predators allow a blook to move inside of his skin, getting an unexpected advantage in a fight. What is falsely believed by many to be a pair of gigantic eyes, and a nose, are in fact, the reproductive organs. The actual eyes of the blooks are located in the folds on the sides of their mouths. Those mouths are actually not only used for consumption of food and speech, but also, to throw up a pile of larvae in a three months period after copulation. Before that, larvae leaves inside the aforementioned eye-like organ feeding on its contents. With the most of the head being used to contain blooks genitals, its brain is actually located inside of its stomach, protected by the layers of hardened skin…

Lobbith – This crustacean species from the planet Lob-Dott is known for a peculiar sexual dimorphism. Females are usually several times larger than males, reaching heights of about 3 meters. Their societies are matriarchal, typically consisting of three to five Warrior-queens who protect and administer colonies of several hundred male workers. They sometimes engage in fights with leaders of other colonies, smashing together the hammer-like structures on their heads. This behavior gives rise to the name "Hammerhead Beetle of Revvus" (Revvus being the term outsiders use to refer to Lob-Dott).

Alleodeck – This species is supposedly derived from Earthlings who colonized the low-gravity environments of the planet Sabir. Reaching heights of eight to ten meters, these bipeds suffer various health complications due to prolonged exposure to low gravity. Originally existing as nomadic pastoralists, these giants were exiled from their home world, forced to cling to the surface or live in zero-gravity environments. With their reproductive cells incapable of developing in low-gravity conditions, this species faces a slow extinction.

Bolotop – These semi-aquatic reptilo-mammalians hail from the marshes of the swamp-moon Yugg IV. To protect themselves from the dangerous fauna of their homeworld, they developed a hard-shelled armor covered in sharp curves and spikes. Their long noses are useful for hiding in murky waters, as they resemble Yuggian coastal flora and do not arouse suspicion. Bolotops live in small villages concealed by vegetation, barely noticeable to the untrained eye. Their houses are always half-flooded, allowing for comfortable nesting of their eggs, which require constant moisture, and for catching small fish and mollusks without leaving the safety of home to venture into the perilous bogs outside.
