I decided to have Phoebe flying the inclusive pride flag for this one. Mostly because she's 12, I'm not all that invested in figuring out what her sexuality would be. We'll just say she's not interested in romance and dating right now. Phoebe's got enough on her plate.

And I did two versions of this piece since Phoebe has two different color schemes (one for the dream world and her normal one). Personally I prefer the pastel version but tell me your favorite.

Phoebe in wonderland part 2: poor little oysters

This drawing took forever! I was having such a hard time finding inspo for the twins outfits. Everything was either too simple, extremely wacky, or extremely disturbing and I really wanted something more cute.

But I couldn't be happier with the results. I love how the background turned out!

I realized years later that this is just Brandy's Cinderella dress in black and green. How the fuck did I do that?🤣

I kinda want to explain the backstory for this dress. Cuz I’ve had this design in my head for years, and have unsuccessfully tried to put onto paper a few times (I have difficulty drawing floor-length ball gowns for some reason. Idk, they’re just beyond my reach. I got lucky with this one.) Anyway, this particular dress was inspired by the episode ‘Beauty Marked’.

I just had this idea that if Danny had been a girl in the series maybe “she” would have been entered in the beauty pageant and this would’ve been the dress “she’d” wear. “She” would ultimately win and Sam and Tucker would save “her” from prince Aragon (that was his name right?) I figure the ghost’s would put a collar on “her” to prevent “her” from escaping.

Phoebe in wonderland part 1: Down the rabbit hole

Okay, so I've been making character inspiration boards on pinterest for my SDLI girls. And thinking about it Phoebe's story is somewhat similar to Alice in wonderland. So I wanted to draw the girls as Alice in wonderland characters.

I was originally gonna do one big piece but then decided it would be easier to do separate artworks so all the girls can shine. Phoebe is obviously taking on the role of Alice. And I decided Juni was perfect for the white rabbit. The rabbit is the reason Alice goes to wonderland and juni is the reason Phoebe ends up in the dream world, perfect match.
