JAZZPROWL FIC RECS PLS?

I have read a LOT of JazzProwl fics in my three years hyperfixating on Transformers (kind of have to with J/P being 90% of fics where Jazz gets any relevancy), but I come to you all with a beseeching plea.

Where are the JazzProwl fics where Jazz is the one being courted and sought after as Prowl is pursuing him? Where is the JazzProwl content where Prowl is openly affectionate and loving, even if awkward about it? The fics where it's reciprocal behavior for them, or even just Prowl being the primary pursuer the relationship?

I like JazzProwl!! But I feel like there has to be more content with Prowl being proactive and invested than I've been finding lately. There's got to be more where it's not Jazz doing majority of the work to have a functioning (if not always healthy) relationship. More fics and art of Jazz being shown love by Prowl and not Jazz always being the affectionate one while Prowl is just flustered/blushing/being publicly stoic/etc. Give me fics of Jazz being the one who gets the love and affection and not always having to work overtime to "earn" it by proving his worth to Prowl (or everyone being like "Prowl manage your mech" like Jazz is a fucking toddler drawing on the walls).

I'm not even going to list fics I've already read that I remember because I want everything ya got. Who knows, maybe I binged it too fast the first time I read it, and I could give it another go. I don't really do bookmarks on AO3, so my life is a roulette wheel of remembering how many fics I've already read, but it's been a loooooot.

I will say I rarely ever read anything under 1k words. I can't taste a bite that small.

(I will also plead for accept recs of them being utter gremlins to each other and yet somehow working out, I love that dynamic with them.)

Perhaps I dreamed it... But Im sure iv seen a post here (or ao3 or... Idk) with a headcanon about praxians are transformers living in a liquid environment. Not mers. They also have a soft protoform under the armor or something similar SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME THAT IT REALLY EXISTS i need that

So essentially I began with Cybertronian units with explicit definitions in canon that are also widely used in fandom (ie. Vorn = 83 years, Joor = 6 hours, Groon = 1 hour). I then worked my way out from those and tried to keep to rough factors of 6/8/10.

Some terms that did have explicit canon definitions had to be slightly skewed from their value (ie. Breem: 8 → 6 minutes, Klik: 8 → 6 seconds) if their definition contradicted another definition that made more sense/fit better. 

At any rate, obviously no one is obligated to use this standard, but canon Transformers content has been unfortunately… awful at establishing any universal units of time, their relationship to each other, or their equivalents to human units of time.

So this occasionally makes fanfiction an absolute nightmare for people like me with a crap memory who don’t want to constantly have to scroll through a thousand pages of the wiki to remind themselves what the hell a groon is.

So, naturally, I simply spent far too long whipping up this at-a-glance guide to keep track of it & on the off chance that the fandom might adopt it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Prowl stretches like a cat when he comes online. Yes, with all those claws back curves and fangs (Im too far out of canon (not) forgive me, so for me Praxians and Vossians have fangs and claws yeee).

Jazz makes his way through the Ark's ventilation on Jazz's business. Everything is in the spirit of him. It is early in the morning, so many are in their berth

Jazz reaches one of the grids and sees that it leads into Prowl's room. He is (finally ye) offline. And when Jazz is about to move on ("Prowl needs rest, I shouldn't disturb him, as much as I want to"), the tactician wakes up. And he starts doing big stretches. He kneads with manipulators, stretches while lying on his side, moves the doors, yawns, and then sits up and almost folds in half, touching the tips of the legs with his hands (I hope that set of letters makes sense)

Jazz has a Windows system bug and energon from the nose

First I would like to say that I am sooooo crazy about the @keferon's au. In a couple of days, I absorbed almost all the content that I could only get my hands on.

And I also decided to share a little what came to my mind.

The first meeting of Jazz and Prowl:

A huge kaiju (to all canons of au) is thrown into tf universe. Perhaps this was seen only by the Prowl, who was unfortunately left alone in the middle of a pack of enemies. Or other Transformers. This is not very important.

The important thing is that the kaiju swallowed the bebop with Jazz inside.

And while he's inside, the monster passes through space. Picture the scene: a big kaiju that suddenly drops dead, strange rock music (think it would be AC/DC - Highway to hell ITS SO EPIC OOOOOO) coming from the monster, and..... A bebop emerges from the carcass, piercing through the thick hide! (at the time of "Im on the highway to hell" in the chorus) He just jumps along with all the remnants of what he did to the kaiju's insides on him. Then he yells to the sky, "I'm alive, you alien bitch!" and kicks the carcass. Everyone around him will look on in shock at this bloody scene.

I think the appearance is worthy of Jazz!
