More backup for this theory because it’s been turning in my brain like a rotisserie chicken

One thing that stuck out to me as I was watching Dark Remains is that Ballon Boy is alive and well. But if you go back and look at night 5? He’s completely mangled by Springtrap.

Either he went through a bunch of repairs, or these nights take place after, making Dark Remains a prequel.

I HAVE SOME THEORIES!!!!!

BUT FIRST MATPATS SINGING IS SO MWAH IM IN LOVE

anyways on with my theory

this is in fact the origin of "evil dirtbag with a chainsaw"

his whole part in the dark remains song shows him making the chainsaw, and in the "hello retirement" reaction gtlive, he says he ends up stabbing himself AND someone else

his manager being the "someone else" checks off, but it does in fact look like the first time he used that chainsaw.

speaking of the song, his lyrics do show that he is slowly losing it and becoming more and more of a psychotic killer (i'm saying more because he already is, in web of lies he says "...and they'll find out what i did to those kids." probably hinting to him killing said kids like in the actual fnaf lore?), "and no one knows the monster i've become" and "so now the world is payin for my sin" (great vocals aside) this shows he is becoming more like the insane killer we see in the og fnaf musical (again, ''more" because he's already proven himself insane and unhinged in web of lies and dark remains), most likely leading him to try and take the animatronics back to frame them for his crimes, and since glitchtrap was the one that sent the said animatronics away (correct me if i'm wrong), this leads to the fight between matpat and glitchtrap (shown in dark remains trailer), and ultimately leads to matpat stabbing himself with his own weapon (literally) (going back to what he said on gtlive).

the question now is does he experiment with remnant? or does he find another way to live? (since both people we've seen get stabbed with the chainsaw are assumed dead)

also the difference in his suit will probably be explained in the next parts too:

this difference may play into his revival after he stabs himself, being his own blood smearing the suit, or it could be someone else's, and more murders are shows in shadows of agony, taking back fazbears, and/or virus?

after all, in the timeline, the dark remains tetralogy is six years before the og fnaf musical (nate gets hired during ground zero, and is assumed to quit before web of lies since we don't see him in it, and web of lies is a year after ground zero, and nate's "it's been 7 years since i worked at this place" lyrics clarify how long its been since he worked there) so there could be another event causing all that blood, either that or he just kinda springtraps for a while and doesnt really come back until the og fnaf musical.

AAGHH I WANTED TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT IT

I legit love Fnaf the musical and how it progressed into a trilogy (I think lol) and the plot thickens into more than just a silly puppet music video.

Not to mention my main man Matpat has return for the role as Madpat, he can never truly escape fnaf even after retirement lmao.

And just to add here how much I love the sillies that are the animatronics gang, poor souls are getting dragged into scary messes and it makes me wanna-
