Tips for Witches pt.1
Paint a sigil for beauty on your face with foundation before blending it into your skin
Stir a sigil or your intention into a cup of coffee and drink to experience the results
Charge water in a windowsill and use for anointing candles, doorways, or cleansing spaces by sprinkling a few drops
Research popular beliefs/superstitions that you can co-opt into spells- think sprinkling some salt
Learn to read playing cards-people will assume you’re playing some kind of elaborate solo game
Make use of meditation as a time to practice and ground
Go out into nature and make use of your time with the wise old trees and friendly squirrels
Explore kitchen witchery and herblore as mundane-friendly practice methods
Use art as a mode of practice. Paint sigils into your work, create images in place of an altar and draw your intentions into being
too exhausted to make a sigil? go to sigilscribe.me and it creates a perfect sigil for you all you need to do is charge it

Spirit Work pt.1
The biggest thing with spirit work is safety. This is a common problem where baby witches try to mess with spirits and get themselves in trouble because they weren't safe. They didn’t properly protect themselves. Now I’m not an expert in spirit work, but I’m going to try to give some tips that I know so people are a bit safer. If I get anything wrong, or if you know a lot about spirit work please message me and I’d love to add anything that you would like to tell me, and I’ll credit or leave your advice anonymous, depending on your preference.
You can use sigils to protect yourself.
You can use grounding and visualize yourself inside of a force field, something else can’t get in.
Always close and say goodbye to any spirit your communicating with.
You can make a crystal grid with the intention of protecting yourself.
Crystals- Black Tourmaline, Selenite, Labradorite
Herbs- Sea Salts,  Bay, Frankincense, Garlic, Juniper, Mugwort,
Colors- White, Light Blue

Also before you try to consume any essential oils, please make sure your brand of essential oil is safe for consumption and that that particular oil is safe for concumption.
STOP TELLING PEOPLE TO PUT ESSENTIAL OILS IN THEIR BATH WATER
WATER DOES NOT DIFFUSE THE OIL. IT’S JUST A CARRIER. YOU CAN GET THIS STUFF ON OR IN YOU IN A HIGH CONCENTRATION AND HURT YOURSELF.
WHEN YOU USE THESE OILS, THEY NEED DILUTED WITH ANOTHER /OIL/. WATER AND OIL DON’T MIX. YOU KNOW THIS. THAT’S WHY IT’S RISKY TO JUST DROP IN IN YOUR BATH. IT”S FLOATING AROUND UNDILUTED.

Grounding pt.1
Hematite is a great stone for gounding.
It’s a basic technique used to remove negitive energy from your person and put it to the Earth. Every witch should know how to do it without even thinking about it. It needs to be the first skill you ever learn especially before you start learning how to cast spells or preform rituals. Meditating helps you learn how ground and makes your grounding easier.
To ground you need to imagine roots growing out of your body where they’re touching the ground and visualize all of your negitive energy leaving your body.
A mantra can help you learn how to ground by giving you something to focus on.

Meditation pt.1
Tumblr media
How to Learn How to Meditate
Meditating every day helps center yourself and helps you learn to control your energies, which will make grounding yourself easier. It also makes placing your intetions when you cast spells.
Create a time and a space to meditate.
Set a timer, reminding yourself to meditate.
Find a comfortable position to be in. If your tired don’t lay down, because you’ll fall asleep. You can always sit comfortably.
Check your posture because it helps your bodies energy flow evenly.
Take a deep breath and learn to steady your breathing by paying attention to it.
Then continue to pay attention to it until your body starts to slowly breathe in that pattern naturally.
If it doesn’t work after 15 minutes, end the session and try again tomorrow or later that day.
If it does work you need to slowly come out of it so you don’t shock yourself and you can come out relaxed.

hi this is a serious question from someone completely unexperienced. I’m seeing someone who i really like but they used to mess w demons and chaos magic and weird African gods and like swore their lives to demons before and stuff and I don’t really know about occultism or anything of the sort but it really spooks me and I do believe that sex is like ritual and a union of souls should I not see him or havesex w him should I make him get an exorcism idk I’m really scared. sorry if this is stupid
Your fine don’t worry about it. Honestly trust your gut. The fact that your worried about this tells you your answer. The fact of the matter is once you sign yourself over most of the time there is no way back or if there is it comes at a great cost. The person who your seeing would had to have made a back door or escape plan when they did the ritual, but the problem is most people who do these sort of thinsg don’t ever think that they’ll regret it or want  to  take it back later so they don’t. Or as I’ve seen in many cases they don’t know about placing back up plans in your spells, especially in darker magic types.
