I’m feeling incredibly lucky today: I spent the morning dancing around the house with my li’l family while singing along to the Hamilton soundtrack, and then spent some time with my son playing BeamNG Drive, just having fun crashing cars.

Something I really appreciate in Horizon: Forbidden West (which was also true for the first game, at least to some extent) is that an effort is made to make the setting diverse.

Don’t get me wrong, the game has flaws… but it’s nice to see a AAA game include characters that are, say… neurodivergent, or trans, or all sorts of non-straight-white-male people.

It’s been such a long time since I got painted a mini, so it was kind of nerve-wracking to break ground on my Darkest Dungeon minis!

I think my first layer turned out okay. It’s the first time I paint a mini with a mini grip holder thing, and that made it considerably easier to hold it while painting.

I’m looking forward to seeing how these all turn out :D
