angsty bucky rant

Sometimes I really forget how in depth of a character Bucky is. He lost his entire identity and life. He lost his family, friends- basically everyone and was thrown into an entirely different timeline. He had to relearn how to exist with people in a new way.

I'd imagine the world is a lot louder than it used to be too. More people, more places, more experiences. He was a man- a drafted man who served with his best friend.

After being forced to endure horrors for so many years, he still would try to pull through it all. Even thinking Steve was gone, he still tried to live. I couldn't imagine the mental fortitude he has. The everlasting will to survive no matter the given circumstances.

Bucky became such a quiet man. Before, he was certainly charismatic and lit up every room he was in. Now he's surrounded by the constant reminder of horrors. After this, he's given a second chance and a new arm. Almost like some sorta way of saying he's taking his identity back- only for it to come off. A constant reminder that he can never be fully trusted.

Just random thoughts going through my mind. Love this man he deserves happiness
