Once, Kaz—the shop’s owner—had casually informed Wylan that Jesper did not work weekends, should he want a less aggravating browsing experience. Unfortunately, the buses ran more often on weekdays, so that is when he came in. No other reason. ----- Wylan gets snowed in while visiting the bookstore. He and Jesper try to make the best of it.

The title is a lyric from “Stolen” by Dashboard Confessional! Off their album Dusk and Summer (2006). I would guess that the line in “mirrorball” is an intentional reference since it’s so lyrically similar :)
