Jesper: Someone will escape your wrath today?
Kaz: Yes, Helvar. He is lucky - he's died.

I was trying to figure out where I last saw the outfit Wylan's wearing in that scene.

The Slat from Six of Crows - this is how I came to this interpretation:
The Slat is described as a ricketty house leaning on it's neighbours in the typical row house style inspired by Amsterdam. We can deduce that it has windows on both it's front and it's back from the fact that in Crooked Kingdom, when Kaz and Inej arrive at the Slat, they enter through opposing sides of the attick: Kaz through his own office window and Inej through a pigeonhole bellow the hook that is used to hoist furniture up in such houses. Obviously there would be windows to living quarters underneath this hook, otherwise the hook would be useless and there are windows beneath Kaz's room as well, one of them being to Inej's room, from where the both of them can see the harbour on clear days.
Another clue regarding the Slat's configuration can be deduced from the fact that Kaz uses all the attick for his own rooms, however when Inej enters through the pigeonhole, she is not in Kaz's rooms (but above living quarters nonetheless) so how can this contradiction be? It is likely the area in which Inej enters is not hight enough for a room, hence a "half level" house is likely, where the rooms in the front are at a higher level than the rooms in the back, conveniently leaving a high ceiling for the Dreg's main room underneath.
We also know that Inej, perched on a beam beneath the roof, can see the entirety of the staircase and part of the main room, so she can watch Kaz fight the Dregs, which can be explained only if in the center of the house there is a wide 4-level opening, which would be consistent with architectural principles (living quarters near the windows, where they can be ventilated) and circulations & secondary spaces in the center.

Can we talk about this?
Tumblr media
During his conversation with Kaz, Wylan looks like he’s tucking his shirt in.
The first couple of times watching it, I assumed Wylan was tightening his pants/belt, (which is actually referenced in CK when Wylan remembers tightening his belt because he was starving during those awful his first couple of weeks in the Barrel and working at the tannery.) I assumed the action was meant to draw the viewer’s eye to Wylan’s waist to notice how skinny he is before Kaz asks when he ate last and Wylan poignantly doesn’t answer.
I don’t think that analysis is wrong, but after staring at this gif, it looks like there’s more to it.
He’s definitely tucking his shirt in. Why? Because he was just robbed and roughed up for the few measly kruge he made while busking.
We never actually get to see Wylan robbed, so I had just assumed he handed the money over and escaped unscathed. But the gif above and below implies the thugs touched him (searched through his pockets?) and pushed him around too.
Tumblr media
Notice how Wylan’s tie is pulled out and crooked, like someone grabbed and yanked on it. Yeah, someone definitely did.
Also worth noting that Wylan never wears a tie in the rest of the season. Can’t imagine with his book backstory he’d be comfortable getting pulled around by his neck. He learned his lesson after this robbery and ditched the tie.
This is just a theory, or perhaps a headcanon, but I’d say Dirtyhands, the Bastard of the Barrel, sent those thugs to rob Wylan. To scare him. To intimidate and push Wylan into being desperate enough to agree to work for Kaz again. Kaz knew Wylan would refuse to build a bomb on principle. So he sent some men after Wylan to scare him and steal all of his money so that he had no choice but to accept Kaz’s job offer. Kaz appearing immediately after the robbery is a bit … suspicious
All this is to say, Wylan being robbed was worse than it first appeared, implied. He wasn’t only robbed, but he was also touched by the thugs enough that he needed to tuck his shirt back in and needed to adjust his tie.

oh these parallels about lovers who are ready to go to hell for the oh these parallels about lovers who are ready to go to hell for the sake of their loved ones
“The Wraith is a sixteen-year-old girl currently lying unconscious on a table. She may not even survive the night.”
“She will,” said Kaz, and something savage flashed in his eyes. Matthias suspected that Brekker would drag the girl back from hell himself if he had to.
Six of Crows, chapter 15
He laughed then, the sound deep and cold, the thing at the bottom of the lake. “I’m bound to you, Stern. To the woman who brought me out of hell. I will serve you ’til the end of days.”
Hell Bent, chapter 39

When the Crows are at the breakfast diner in season 2, episode 2, Nina pulls her stunt shocking all of them by going to the waitress and saying, "Excuse me, but I have a delivery and I can't read the directions."
All of them -- Kaz, Jesper, Inej, and Wylan -- are floored by her brilliant plan that immediately finds the room they need.
But think about what Wylan just heard. She admitted that she went up to total stranger and told them she couldn't read something. She asked for help reading (even though she really can read and it was a act). To Wylan, that had to have been one of the most shameful, taboo things he could ever do. Yet she did it without hesitation, without fear. And someone just ... helped her?!
Imagine how mind blowing that must have been to Wylan. No wonder he spends the scene staring at her.

I thought for a long time who makes Kaz's clothers (for some reason I want to believe that there is a person who knows the taste of Kaz and makes clothes for him, based on his instinct and Kaz's preference). Today I finally understood. Here is the designer who is capable of such a miracle 🤣 :

Let’s change the game! Trade petition signatures with pals from other fandoms or ask acquaintances to sign as a favor. Let this race to 200,000 signatures be a celebration of how far we've come & a chance to talk about why it's important to save our show! Maybe we could even reach 200k before the billboard goes up on January 2nd? 👀

Come on, guys!
Save Shadow and Bone!!! Despite the large amount of support and views this show has gotten, Netflix has decided to cancel it. Shadow and Bone means so much to so many people. It gives various groups representation when there is very little representation for them in media. Not only do the fans not want it to end, but neither do the actors. Don’t let this wonderful show be thrown away cause Netflix doesn’t want to pay their writers and actors a decent amount of money.
