Ways to Keep the Friendship: Building Friendships in Your Early 20s
You know it if you’re in a good circle of friends when you don’t have to be exactly like them. Real friends accept you for who you are, and does not defined you by your mistakes but considered your wins. They don’t even try to make you compete with them, instead they helped you through good times and down times. It’s easy to find someone you can talk to, what’s hard is someone you can trust to. As one of my sayings, “Share your thoughts with someone you only trust.”
I have listed ways to keep the friendship, which is somehow can help to build your connection with friends (for a long run):
·         Communication/Friend’s Situation- a very simple way to keep in touched with your friends, families, and mutual. I know some of us may feel introvert sometimes, which is we can’t deny for some reasons like is that we know our limit, or everyone may not understand, or we just really hate on what’s going on around us then it gets to the point you chose to stay in your room, have some coffee, read some books, or even watch a movie. When it comes to your friend’s situation, you must be at least updated on what is happening to them, well that’s the point of social media anyway. Of course, communication is the key to all sources like answers, knowledge, opinions, idea, etc.
HOW TO MAKE YOUR CONVERSATION MORE EVOCATIVE?
1.       Ask- this is necessary in all occasions especially if you really don’t know what you’re doing, action without asking is ignorant. Ask your friend “How are you?” “How you doing?” “What’s up with you now?” that would really mean a lot. It somehow shows how you care for them.
2.       Share your thoughts- this one can be rough, like I said, share your thoughts with someone you only trust. Why?  Less regrets, more comfortably discussions. “Sharing is caring” this quotation reminds to open up your feelings or thoughts, as result of how you expressed yourself to anyone.
3.       Brought some informative topics- okay let’s admit this is pretty complicated. It is so hard bringing up a new topic when you’ve already said what you wanted to say. Your topic affects your emotions and thinking. If you chose to have a delight/enlighten topics, you’ll be talk about dreams, passions, businesses you want someday, something that would lighten up your day and learned another lesson and inspiration. But if you chose to have a perverse topic like rumors, or judging everyone by what you only see – these chitchats can only triggers your negativity thoughts. And there’s nothing to see clearly there, even a life lesson.
4.       Watch your word- we don’t have the same measurement of sensitivity. What comes in your mouth could be fair for you, but for me that’s over the line, or for me that’s okay but for you it’s too harsh. Always observe your words. It could be offensive sometimes. As the Filipino sayings “It is better to be hurt physically, than to get hurt with offensive words.” Offensive words can degrade your personality, also the person you told to.
·         Sympathy- this is not just given in the moment of loss or down times. Sympathy is how you consider yourself to the situation. Considering your feelings would be comfortable to them.
·         Hanging out or Coffee date- the only way to escape the stressed world! Oh yes, given that we can jam inside our house, but what’s more with hanging out and unwind? Take a break. Get out for a while. No paper works, no televisions, no cooking, no laundry, no bosses. Talk on your perspective, while having the best coffee in town, trying dishes in different places can help to release your stress.
·         Remembrance- I remember my best friend bought me a pencil lipstick on her first job, as her “pay out treat” for me. That brings happiness to me! The only thing that reminds you of your friend is the memories you shared together. So what is the essence of this remembrance thing anyway? Well it was all about the things/gift you keep from your friends, which resembles as sentimental value between you.
·         Include them to your prayers- for their protection, happiness, and situation, pray for them. Not just because you want them for a long run, but because you are once they fought for, you are once the reason of their happiness, you are once who build their confidence and motivation, you are once who saved them from their sadness. Pray for them.

Technically—it’s Easy!
Summer is here, but there is one more thing that is hotter than the season. A virus we called NCOV19- closely in the previous virus that discovered these past few years (H1N1 and MersCov), a pandemic outbreak. The lockdown in Metro Manila is happening today (March 15, 2020), while near cities in MM are also preparing for what might happen next. Here in Biñan Laguna, our city mayor Atty. Arman Dimaguila provided a community drill held in Brgy. Langkiwa and Brgy. Canlalay on March 12, 2020.
Crisis like this is the time where everyone (in affected areas) are hoarding/panic buying in all supermarkets. As of today, drugstores and convenient stores are still lack of medical supplies like surgical mask, alcohol, and even tissue papers. In scenarios like these, you don’t have to focus on what’s on the prior list of stocks instead you have to provide an options/alternatives.
Here’s some of my ways on how to fight against virus (but also to deal with our weather today):
COMMON WAYS (KNOWN WAYS)
1. Using alcohol
try:
Wash your hands every 30mins or 1hr with anti-bacterial soap.
2. Wearing facemask
try:
When going out in a polluted places, wear bandanas/handkerchief
3. Using tissues
try:
Bring face towel, don’t let your sweat dry over your body (which can affect your respiratory to weakened)
4. Taking vitamin C
try:
Eat different kinds of fruits and vegetables—these can help your daily diet, improves your appetite, and helps your body cycle.
Other TIPS:
- Have a bath 1-2 times a day- aside from the heat that summer brings, we are always facing these different kinds of pollution around us.
- Always bring wet wives to freshen your skin
- Try not to carry away with traffics, bad news, and emotions. Keep it cool because everything will be fine J also--- anger and panic leads you to nothing.
- Last but not the least—drink water more than 8 glasses a day! No further reasons, we need it J
That’s it. It’s just my simple ways on how to deal with these cases, I hope these can help. You don’t have to do as what media says, it’s time for you to think clear, think twice, and trust yourself because no matter what happens, we are all responsible for our lives.
