Been messing around with ReShade myself instead of downloading presets. Was just using the basics (vibrance, AA, DOF, MXAO) but just played around with it a bit, will obviously continue tweaking but I think this is alright.

I am unfortunately stuck with Gimp for the moment until I figure out how to get PS working with Linux (or give up and make a Windows partition,) so my edits are going to be half the quality in twice the time for a minute. That being said, here's my Very Veggie founder, Fiore Garden (they/them). They live in the woods in Henford -- like, literally in the woods. No house. Just trees. Gotta start the challenge with $0 after all!

My current lack of posts is entirely that I'm figuring out my Photoshop setup since I swapped to Linux ngl

Planning to release a CC free townie replacer, since there's a wonderful tool to assemble those now and I already have made over all townies for my save.

So I'm actually setting up for the veggie legacy. It's very silly and I love a fresh, hot bandwagon to jump on.

The save I've been working on got corruped, unfortunately, which I did always know was a risk. Easy enough to save my lots and put them in a new one (though I'll need to redo some off-lot TOOL) but replacing all the townies with my edited ones will be so tedious. Ugh. Obviously putting that off until they fix corruption.

Apologies if this is gibberish, but my current issues with my swap to Linux are: - Wine (.exe launcher for Linux) does not launch programs at all (so I'm mostly using Proton -- which is built into Steam -- instead, but someone made a specifically Wine-compatible version of Photoshop which I quite want to use) - Audio cuts out in games, but I THINK that was Pulseaudio's fault, so I replaced it with Pipewire - Cannot get my Sennheiser headset's software installed (which circles back to the Wine issue) and it's slightly too niche a product to have a dedicated open-source Linux version - I have a standing mouse because of arthritis, but the scroll wheel is too hard to press due to that arthritis, so I remap one of the thumb buttons to be a middle button; however, I can't currently figure out how to make that button work when HOLDING it via Solaar (I can click a link with it and it opens in a new tab, like it would with the scroll wheel, but holding it in TS4 doesn't let me pivot the camera) ...But I still think it's worth it for privacy and all the wonderful open-source software, just need to fix a few things.

Thinking I'll do Asphodel Moon's occult legacy challenge
Gonna start new gameplay and put my NSB on hold for a minute, what challenges are popular right now? I just get kind of bored with straight up legacy play with no rules

Still need to do a little finagling to make TS4 work with ReShade on Linux, crashing on launch atm. On another note, unfortunately turning off anon for the moment.

Gotta reinstall TS4 since I just finally got fed up with Windows and swapped to Linux (specifically Mint Cinnamon) and only took the stuff I needed (savefiles, blender files, mods folders, etc) before reformatting and wiping everything that I didn't need or could easily reinstall. Really not that hard of a swap. Steam's compatibility features make it REALLY easy for most games, Proton is some form of witchcraft. I believe I'll need to use Wine for Sims games, though. Also still learning the common commands and getting used to using the console, but it makes me feel like I'm in one of those movie hacking sequences where they say "I'm in 😎"

Don's place in my save, heavily inspired by his TS2 house. CC-free.
#ts4#sims 4#the sims 4#Low clutter for savefile size but I did do some funny little things with that bedroom

Sorry for all the nonsims lately, but want to add that AdAway has banished these random right wing ads on the app for me (android only)
I only get ads on the mobile app because I use ublock on browser like a normal person, but what the actual fuck are the ads on the Tumblr app. I report these every time, but I can't believe these people expect to get money out of the average Tumblr user

BTW, count the fingers on that first shirt

New PFP shape cuts my PFP off at the corner 😩 I'll have to add more dead space around it I guess

An actual, professional gluten free baker acquaintance from an arthritis group I'm in generously gave me a bunch of her recipes and I recreated her chocolate strawberry cupcakes for my birthday. I have never made something so good. I made two dozen because I do not trust myself to properly halve recipes. Moistest, fluffiest chocolate cake I've ever had and the frosting is also fantastic. I forced guests to take some home with them because 24 is too many cupcakes.
