MARKS & SPENCER Foaming Bath Essence

Around 10 years ago or so, when life was easier and I was still a student who had lots of free time for leisurely things such as, say, bubble baths, I really enjoyed taking my time and y'know... just soak the daily stress away with a good old fashioned bubble bath!

Back then, the product I used was MARKS & SPENCER's Floral Collection Moisture Rich Foaming Bath Essence; and my favorite scents were:

China Blue - la porcelaine bleue; and Rose - rosa contifolia

Of course since then a decade has passed so when I tried searching for these products, it seemed like only the Rose scent was still available– at least on the MARKS AND SPENCER website.

I actually spent a good time searching for the old packaging pictures for both China Blue and Rose, but sadly couldn't find any high resolution ones. I honestly prefer the old packaging for China Blue because I preferred the old art than the new one. Boo.

And while browsing, I found another interesting scent that I would love to try if ever I have time – Iris – iris florentina, because... why not? iykyk

hygienix GERM-KILL ALCOHOL

A few weeks ago, I posted the hand spray version of this product. This time though, I am sharing the rubbing alcohol-sized version of this product in this post... just because. lol jk

Anyway, the smell is the same so that is good. But I feel like the spray is not as rough on the hands as the alcohol? (Do correct me if I'm wrong!)

Either way, this product is good to have at home in case you need immediate refills for the spray!

BIOAQUA Peach Extract Hexapeptide Extract

Another one of the skin care products from my mom!

I am guessing this is one of those hydrating lotion. I've only been using this product for a short time (and not that often) but sooooo far, I don't think there's anything special about it, but it isn't bad either so I suppose it is doing its job! haha.

And so, I will comment on the texture instead.

It has a creamy texture, but still very light and it does not have a thick consistency. Also, I like the smell too! It is very subtle, and not too much.

Chanced upon this lipstick when I was in Seoul, and it immediately became one of my favorite lippies!

I like how it's like a push pen, but the applicator end is like a sponge!

The color I have is the one pictured above, 007 My Kinda Coral.

OLAY Regenerist Revitalising Night Cream Moisturiser

Many years ago, when I ran out of the White Radiance variant and didn't have time to buy a replacement right away, I began my mom's using the OLAY Regenerist night cream instead— perhaps for at least a month? lol

Anyway. I have nothing bad to say about this product because it is really good for the skin. Though I suppose that is to be expected for a product line targeted towards seniors.

Bottomline is... it works! :)

MAYBELLINE NEW YORK FASHION BROW ULTRA FLUFFY

Probably one of my favorite eyebrow pencils, it takes less effort to shape my brows because it has a wider pointer, which works perfectly for thinner brows.

Also, with the trend of fluffier brows more prevalent these days than thinner ones of the past decades, this is a good eyebrow pencil to have because it looks natural!

My dad and I travelled to a tropical area over the summer, and to my surprise, my dad who doesn't regularly use sunscreen— like at all— actually asked me where he can find those "roll-on sunscreens" because the heat during those days was just worst than everrrr.

Naturally, I didn't know which sunscreen he was talking about but luckily, the one time we went to Watsons, he actually found this product lol

And lemme just say... I was surprised it was very expensive for such a little thing!!

But was it worth it?

Oh, yes!

It has high SPF, and as the product says... it is matte so you won't have to worry about having an oily face on a hot day at the end of the day!

OLAY White Radiance Brightening Intensive Cream

An old timer! I've been using this product for over 10 years, alternatively with other creams.

What I like about this is that while we know that the feel of OLAY on the skin is more on the oilier side, it does do it's job of keeping the skin moist.

Also, the SPF is on the low side, but it is a bonus nonetheless, and not really a problem if you're applying a separate sunscreen anyway.

Got this as part of a Christmas gift.

Just waiting for the winter sun before I start to use it because it's only SPF 36 — and only because I currently live in the temperate regions. Won't even consider applying this in tropical areas because it's spf is too weak for that!

However, still willing to give this one a chance because innisfree is one of my preferred brands. 🤷🏻‍♀️

LANEIGE Two-Tone Lip Bar

This two-tone lip bar was such a hit, especially during the pre-pandemic era. Popularized by Korean dramas, it felt like all the female stars (even K-Pop idols) were wearing this two-tone tint on their lips!

The color I had is the one pictured above— the Mint Tint.

Anyway, I recently searched for official LANEIGE posts about this product but only found this tutorial from LANEIGE Hong Kong. It seems the product line has been discontinued? Do enlighten me if I am wrong!

Kiss Bèauty® EYESHADOW PENCIL

My mom got me this for my birthday a couple years back, and for someone like me who isn't used to putting on eyeshadow but is used to using eyebrow pencil and pencil eyeliners— this product really makes it easy lol
