Do you know how to find what theaters are playing parachute on the 5th? I’ve tried looking them up (in the northeast USA) but I haven’t found them. Any suggestions?

Man, I'm so disappointed by the Vertical rollout. I only have found one (pretty far) theater in my area as well. I just regularly search "Parachute showtimes" and see what comes up :')

hi! I was going through the hunting wives cast list and the actor who plays Brad is super young. I’m hoping they make them at least college sophomores because I am sooo uncomfortable why them being 18 in the book. I understand the point is that the wives are bad people, but that’s so not it for me. I think by making them college kids it still gets the point across and it’s even worse considering Jill

yeah that's something i hope for as well. i don't think it detracts from the story at all if they age him up so they definitely should do that :')

i don’t understand the whole “unexpected bella” situation. Why would Anna K be unexpected? Aren’t they friends? I’m asking I’m the most genuine way. I’m not trying to be rude btw

so again this is all speculation and kind of just based on what they choose to share w/ the world but i always got the vibe that AK and BS are friends but not besties, yknow? they possibly might have gotten closer in recent years but we'll never know. i just think the "unexpected" part was bc it'd be expected for her to go to chrissie or kelley bc they're actually really good friends/best friends even. and i think w/ all the fan stuff surrounding AK and BS, they're conscious of that and possibly don't want the (obnoxious) stuff fans say to be the focus or even to keep unwanted attention on them. if it were kelley or chrissie, i think brittany would name them. and maybe AC because there was a point where they were really close too...so it wouldn't really be unexpected.

Didn’t she say on the podcast that it was Anna C though? Cause I’m pretty sure she did and even if she didn’t, Anna C is the only Anna who has been divorced. So the phone call was definitely Camp, but I still think the unexpected Bella she mention on her book tour is Anna K because why would any of the other Bella’s she close to be unexpected? They would be the most expected 😂

yeah like i said, it's all speculation and i'm overall just glad that she had people in her circle she felt comfortable and safe going to for help/advice/comfort.

i will say that AK has described what she went through as breaking up w/ somebody (not to minimize the abuse she went through) to whom she was basically married to and the longevity of that relationship had a huge impact

im honestly very excited to see Brittany play Sophie. Like I’ve wanted her to play gay for so long 😭 I do hope the book makes it obvious that Sophie is in love (obsessed) w Margot. Like all the times she’s looking at her and all the thoughts she has about her. What did you think of the book btw?

I definitely thought the book was not a book I'd normally read on my own. It reminded me of A Simple Favor in terms of depth and ease, but it was overall enjoyable. I have a few hopes for the series adaptation (one being aging up Brad and Jamie lol) but definitely hope they keep in all the gay parts. Like Sophie "experimenting" in college with the girl she was lowkey in love with as well.

I also agree that it was evident that Sophie was leaning more towards being in love with Margot (lmao the part where Margot's like "your husband is cute!" and Sophie's like "wow i want to lick your thighs") as opposed to just being obsessed.

It's a role I'm really excited to see Brittany in because it's different and wild and something that I can see her absolutely bodying. Sophie is a more annoying protagonist than I'd normally like but some of her mannerisms were so vivid to me, like I could see Brittany acting out all of those things easily.

The one Bella Brittany talked about had to be Anna camp right? That told her to just sit and feel it? Brittany sIx she has been divorced and Anna camp is the only one I know who'd been divorced... or am I missing something?

I mean it's all speculation but Anna Camp makes sense. I also thought it was the same Bella who Brittany cried to ("I just, you know, opened up her door and I just fell down to the ground and just cried and laid there") because she said it was somebody unexpected for her...and based on that I kind of thought it was AK. But now looking back, it could be two different people, so maybe both AC and AK?

i haven't thought much about it tbh! i'm sure it makes sense that she would be but she seems really busy and this is just a script that's ready right? not a whole full-fledged pre-production?
