CONCEPTUAL ART AND SKETCHES

Once again, here is more concept art of one of the characters for my upcoming project: Right Before The Sun Sets. A webcomic about a group of friends in their 20s who go on a vacation trip for a weekend to hangout one last time before one of them moves out of the country.

This is Daniel. He was very difficult to design if I'm honest 😅 Something that made it difficult was the fact that , because of plot purposes, he needed to have a "dark colored shirt". In the beginning it was complicated because he is supposed to be a feminine gay man with a bubbly personality and you would instantly think that it would be obvious to NOT use black/gray. On top of that, it is summer time, so you'd automatically go for a warmer color palette 🎨

But then, it hit me: brat summer 🍏😹 So this is the final result ❤️‍🔥

Over all I like the result, but it is still in the developmental stage haha so I think I'll change some stuff here and there.

As some of you know, I'm working on a webcomic. A passion project I've been wanting to work on for years and FINALLY I decided to stop procrastinating and get to it. I finally finished the script, so that means I am in the visual developmental stage of the project ❤️‍🔥

The story follows a group of friends in their twenty-somethings who go on a weekend vacation trip. Not gonna give more details of what the story is about just yet, but let's just say it's a coming-of-age story 🤭

This is Lorena. She is always down to go somewhere in nature, especially a river, and read your fortune with her tarot cards 🔮 🌞 💫 She will also never say "no" to a glass of red wine 🍷

I started off by doing some quick doodles in paper and then continuing those doodles on my iPad. I used a picture of myself as reference for her pose since I couldn't find any images on Pinterest or google that had a pose that I felt like it would capture her essence.

Will post more character designs soon so stay tuned !!😋

I've been quiet for a while now, but for the last couple of weeks I've been working on a webcomic script and I can confidently say I finished it!

It is a coming-of-age story about a group of 20-something year olds , but I wont give out any more details yet 🤭 Point is, I can say I finally am starting the visual developmental stages of it.

This morning I woke up and felt like designing one of the characters of the friend group. Their name is Sam and they must be protected at all costs. They also need coffee (good coffee) ☕️

Yes I'm very late to the party but I recently started watching Bojack Horseman and I'm like obsessed with Todd ok. He must be protected at all costs. I'm currently in season 5 and everyone keeps warning me that it gets very sad and everything goes downhill and if you know me you know that's my kind of shit so i'm ready for it 🤪

It is a direct reference to the Netflix series: Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. happy Friday everyone :) Currently on my way to work (booo 👎) BUT wanted to say that I'm slowly working in silence on a personal project that those of you who like webcomics might be into 🤪 But obviously wont give too much detail yet 😌 Have a great weekend. For now, have this illustration I did a few days ago. Lately Ive been more into experimenting with more textures. What do you guys think?
