What to look for and what to avoid.

CBD Oil and hemp oil are very different.

CBD Oil : forms in hemp secretion

Hemp Oil : derived from plant seeds and lacks canibaniod

CBD Oil is known to:

• Is an anti-inflammatory

• Treat acne

• Aid sensitive skin

• Treat czema and psoriasis

• Contain high amounts of antioxidants

• Improves skin barrier

• Locks in moisture

• an antidepressant

• small antipsychotic

• slight pain/ numbing actions

• does not clog pores

• treats anxiety. THC is notorious in the mental society for increasing anxiety, though it may not feel like it when high.

Hemp Oil is known to:

• Not clog pores

• Have anti-inflammatory properties

• Provide intense moisturization keeping skin looking and feeling supple.

• Sooths skin and scalp

Some products may confuse CBD oil with hemp seed oil, cannabis sativa seed oil, and or hemp seed.(which does not contain CBD oil)So be sure to look at what’s in the ingredients when aiming to buy CBD (which is way better than hemp seed oil, in my opinion or at least for my skin problems). CBD oil is much more expensive than hemp oil . Also make sure the CBD product was teasted by a 3rd party laboratory to confirm it’s legit!

Full Spectrum CBD Oil

Full spectrum CBD oil contains different canabanoids, flavonoids, and terpenes. Canabanoid is CBD. There are 113 identified types of canabanoids .Flavonoids, similar to terpenes, contribute to the plant's aroma and flavor profile, but offer their own therapeutic effects. Terpenes are responsible for the aroma, flavors of cannabis, and support of cannabinoids in creating the desired effects. That being said full spectrum CBD oil contains all the canabanoids hemp has to offer and it’s process of production is way shorter than CBD Isolate. They dry the hemp plant then extract the plants compounds. It’s also known as CO2 extraction. Contains less than 0.3% THC and only small amounts of CBG, CBC, and THCV, which all have their own therapeutic properties. CBG being the closest to CBD.

Broad Spectrum CBD Oil

Broad spectrum CBD oil is like full spectrum but with out a few canabanoids and contains no THC

It’s process of creation is more extensive then that of full spectrum . The plants oil is filtered until it contains the desired canabanoid and or canabanoids.

CBD Isolate

CBD isolate is pure CBD. No THC

Which One Should I Purchase?

In a study published by Dr. Ethan Russo, canabanoids work better together rather than isolated, and found in a few other studies! In short full spectrum CBD oil is what you’d want to find when looking to maximize the therapeutic, and other effects, effects on the skin and in the body. Unless of course you want only very specific treatments such as just fighting anxiety . But why treat one thing when you can treat all at once !

Full spectrum can be digested. But make sure to buy the products that state it’s for ingestion because the ones that aren’t maketed as that edible may contain other ingredients not meant for ingestion.
