- can draw

- sings pretty well

- his real talent is to play the drums and the guitar (and ofc he learnt A LOT of "memes songs", he plays them with a trumpet)

- owns two wands (he totally steal his father's one when he was 10 and never gave it back

- good friend with Susan Bones and later with Cedric and bestfriend with Neville

- give flowers to everyone he likes (they always has a meaning) bc this little shit can't express himself

- he adore Luna and defends her (when assholes steal her shoes, he gave her his uniform shoes and gets a detention for not wearing them when he has classes)

- makes a lot of bets (usually on dumb shit) and always win

- loves gossip but pretend he doesn't

- daydream 24/7

- can't talk properly bc his brain is racing and he has too many thoughts to voice them all

- he is the guy who never study but always get good grades (except potion, he sucks at potion)

- really good at transfiguration, McGonagall ADORE him and wishes he was on Gryffondor but keep it secret

- has an opinion on everything (everything)

- can't pick an aesthetic but nobody can so it's okay

- His complete name is Ben Priam Walker

- yeah, like the king of Troy

- raging bisexual

- He’s pretty small, but still taller than Harry and athletic with pretty broad shoulders

- heterochromatic eyes, one grey, one blue but the difference is v difficult to see

- wavy black hair (brown in summer)

- he’s a skater and always keeps is board beetween his back and his backpack (idk if it’s clear), he skates in Hogwarts’ hallways 24/7, it drives Snape mad.

- wear hawaiian shirts, vans, ridiculous socks and too short jeans 24/7 during free days ( when he doesn’t need to wear his uniform)

- sometimes wear round glasses but don't like them very much so fuck his vision yeah ?

- when he has to wear his uniform, he ties his vans to his backpack by the shoelaces and wears suspenders bc he thinks they’re cool (and I think they’re cool, so fuk u)

- always wear a beanie (owns approximately 32 of them) or an old worn-out Puma cap (tried a bucket hat once, didn't work)

- owns tons of knitted jumpers but no one knows the exact number, including Ben himself. Same thing with hoodies

- millions of wristbands on his right wrist and a watch on the left

- wears black nail polish

- and sometimes he replaces his uniform pants with a skirt, no one knows where he got it.

Second Year : Harry Potter AU “Walker !”

- Hermione thinks Ben is a bad influence on Harry.

- Harry feels sorry for Flitch (for Miss Norris), even though he's a bastard.

- During the magic history class where Binns tells the story of the Chamber of Secrets, Ben sleeps on his bench. When Harry wakes him up so he won't be late for the next class and tells him the legend, Ben says he already knows it, Harry doesn't know how.

- Usually, in DADA class, Harry tries to make the presentations that Lockhart makes him do as funny/ridiculous as possible, but when the trio needs the book abt the polynectar, he does everything he can to please Lockhart. Ben stares at him puzzled and Harry feels obligated to tell him that he needs a book from the reserve. Ben doesn't ask any questions.

- At the quidditch game, when Lockhart wants to cure Harry's arm, Ben violently opposes it, but Lockhart still casts the spell and makes all the bones disappear. Ben insults Lockhart (and gets a detention, but that's usual at this pace) before taking Harry to the infirmary.

- When they're doing polynectar, Ben surprises the trio in the girls' bathroom while looking for a toilet seat for a prank with the twins. He understands what they're doing and negotiates a bottle of potion in exchange for his silence. He does not ask about the need for such a potion.

- Ben thinks it's cool that Harry is a parseltongue, in botany he's the only Hufflepuff to talk to the trio and he takes Justin's place in the class.

- Ben doesn't believe Harry is Slytherin's heir and lectures Ernie & co at the library. And when he runs into Harry from the library, he tells him that being parseltongue is rlly dope.

- At Christmas, Ben gives harry a pack of bertie boots with only good tastes, claiming he's been saving the bad ones for pranks. Harry sends him the polynectar as a gift.

- On Valentine's Day, Ben sends a ridiculous poem to Lockhart, mocking him and making insults sound like compliments. No one will believe this, but Harry swears he saw a flash of amusement pass through McGonagall's eyes.

Second Year : Harry Potter AU “Walker !”

- Harry has nightmares (he saw one of his teachers die in front of him, so I CANNOT let him get away with it, it's a big deal ow)

- Several clues about the Dursleys' mistreatment of Harry (especially Vernon)

- The Ford Anglia incident happens but Harry realizes halfway through that it was a particularly stupid idea. However, he and Ron can't go back, it's already too late. (The Whomping Willow isn’t happy)

- Harry sends a letter of apology to Mr. Weasley and offers to pay for a new car but Arthur refuses, saying, "He wasn't using it that much anyway."

- Lockhart pisses Harry off

- During the first botany class, Neville faints because of the mandrakes and Sprouts says to leave him there but a Hufflepuff student that Harry has never seen takes offense and takes Neville to the infirmary.

- In DADA's first class, the same Hufflepuff boy ridicules Lockhart by showing him that all his knowledge is false and stupid. He puts him in detention. (Meanwhile, Harry fills out Lockhart's questionnaire with the most stupid and sarcastic answers possible. Of course Lockhart reads them out loud and takes the shame of his life).

- At the end of class, Harry intercepts Hufflepuff's boy and asks his name. His name is Ben Walker, Harry tells him that he had never noticed him the year before and Ben responds that he was at Beaubâtons for his 1st year but that he has moved away and is therefore attending Hogwarts (Harry remembers hearing Hermione talking about new students). Apparently Ben knows only vaguely about Harry's past and Harry likes having someone like that around.

- The two boys decide to sit together for the next DADA classes (although Ben skips more than one, Lockart’s rlly an asshole).

- They call each other by their last names all year long and no one knows why.

- Ben is already good friends with the twins and Lee.

- Ben ends up in detention with Lockhart and Harry, except that his job is to polish windows and not write fan addresses.

- They get out of detention and talks a little, Harry learns that Ben has two brothers; Luke who is in fourth year at Slytherin and Finn in first year at Gryffindor.

- On the way to their common rooms, they meet Nick who invites Harry to his death anniversary but Ben discreetly incites Harry not to go because Harry really doesn't want to go to a party populated only by ghosts. Without food. On Halloween night.

- Harry talks about the voice he hears to Ben bc he was there.

- Harry goes to the Halloween banquet but leaves early, since he learned from Hagrid that it was the day his parents died, he can't quite enjoy the party.

- So he finds Miss Norris and Ron and Hermione quickly join him when a crowd starts to form around him, pretending they've always been there.

- When Snape asks him why he left the feast early, Harry gives him a flat look and fucks him with his sarcasm (abt his parents)

Hi ! I've made this blog bc I've been totally obsessed with a fanfic idea for a few months, but I can't write (like, I'm a legit piece of shit) so I'll just post some headcanons, prompts (if I can) and stuff abt this au.

It's kind of a "harry potter but written by me" thing and it starts at the beginning of CoS.
