the way i’m buying so many books (mainly off of thriftbooks) about history, economics, politcs, racism, homophobia, capitalism, communism, other ism’s, the history of queerness, black history, native history, etc before we no longer are easily able to access these things. i mean, since apparently the academic/professional world is basically being told they can’t research about practically anything anymore because certain words will be flagged and won’t be the recipient for funding. you know: the stuff you need to do the research. (i think this is the reason why these words are being ban. please correct me if wrong)

female, women, woman, diverse, diversity, diverse background, equity, historically, and i’m not going any farther bc this is already ridiculous.

activism can start small. i live in a very red town and its not very safe for me to do things publicly so im gonna start by making zines. the little ones with like, 3 pages of info. i’ll make a stack and leave them places around town when im going to work, the store, out my window when Im driving. there are people who are in even less safe spots than some of us are. if they can see that someone is like them, in a space where its getting very dangerous to be anything but a cishet republican able bodied man, we need all the community we can get. no matter how small.

i know i’m always late with this shit, but thank fuck that there are people with power who are not immediately giving into trump and his outrageous ideas he wants to sign into law. that judge that said ending birthright citizenship is “blatantly unconstitutional” we love it.

and the lawsuits he’s getting bc he put forth an executive order to make it easier to fire federal employees and replace them with loyalists. amazing. it’s good to see that there are people who will tell him when he’s being fucking stupid. bc apparently we haven’t been doing it enough for it to stick.

In 2026, 33 senate seats will be up for grabs, and we’ll be able to vote for people who are against Trump and his ideals.

This was a website to help women learn about their reproductive rights in the US and to find health care.
